Insurgent wrote:Takara's G2 Superion set has Powerglide in it as well. So there is a precedence. But really, I don't think this will be a 6 set piece. Who would the 6th member be?
G2 Superion is a Platinum Edition release, which is a line done by Hasbro/Hasbro Asia.Insurgent wrote:Oh. I thought that boxset was Takara. Thought it had Takara artwork on the front. Or I'm completely confused.
Meh.

Maybe similar artists, but not the same art:Insurgent wrote:I thought they used a recolour of the Unite Superion artwork. Which does match the platinum stuff in terms of style.
My guesses for the last two are as follows:Insurgent wrote:Anyway, there's no 6th person to put in this set anyway. The Council, Tarantulas and Ravage were the only 5 guys we ever saw. So it's probably gonna be a 5 m an set, with one of the remaining members a voyager. My money is on Cicadacon being a Silverbolt repaint. Can't think who they would use for Sea Clamp.

Most suspect it to be an unused Hasbro/Takara-pretooling, and which would mean that if anyone were to try and give us a full Computron (with this being for Nosecone), it'd more probably be a release from Takara.ScottyP wrote:I've been away/busy, but despite being way late on this, I wanted to come in and say that Ramhorn looks really cool to me. Well done concept on that one. Did we ever find out if the drill is a Hasbro mold thing, or is it a new piece of tooling that TFCC is doing for it?

I really don't know what this is in response to.william-james88 wrote:Sabr, I really dont think its a perfect science. Already there is the idea that theeir red tint might be a combination of their real colour and the red light, plus there is the idea of merging the alt modes with those of the original toys and going from a 3 character to a 5 character combiner. It's not going to all work out perfectly.

I don't think any of the torsos are a good enough fit for Sea Clamp, to be honest.

You know, that was the only reasoning I too could think of for Hot Spot as Sea Clamp. Even though we're getting Onslaught for Thunder Mayhem, I feel as though Hot Spot would be the least inappropriate fit, as I really can't see Sea Clamp as being either a truck or a jet.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Now the question remains, which mold is suitable for the torso? Crazy idea: Hot Spot, just because he sprays water.
