It's been a long time coming, but here he is in all his glory,
"Titan Return" Scorponok!
I start with the "city" mode, because of course he have it.

It work surprisingly well.

Lord Zarak can squeeze securely in that cavity, making him standing proudly without flying off somewhere.

Of course, the G1 original dwarf my creation. Still, I love the fact that mine keep the overall "spirit" of the original.

Lord Zarak have been customised to have a new big-bot head (revealed in due time.)

To not mess with the big-bot head, my Lord Zarak have a very different color scheme than the G1 original.

My Scorpy had to have his pet, Fastrack. I used the Legion Defence Red Alert as a base.

Comparison with the G1 original. Both are pretty much the same size in vehicle mode.

Fastrack's bot mode:

BTW, his cone-hands are made out of steel.

Comparison with the G1 original, who is taller but look very plain.

There's a "cockpit" for Lord Zarak to sit in for scorpion mode. But he must be in head mode for the hatch to close.

The scorpion mode is pretty menacing.

Contrary to the original, mine only have 4 legs instead of 8. Still, it work. Those things pop off too easily from their ball-joint, but I manage. The scorpion stand up solidly on these legs and the normal bot's chest-plate.

Notice here that I painted the tip of the scorpion's stinger orange, to be more accurate to the original. I noticed the mistake when I took the pictures of the city mode.
And now, a comparison with the huge G1 original:

Here's the parts that must partsform:

And now the bot mode!

Marvel Comics Scorponok was the one who created the Pretenders. So I kinda recreated this scene:

The big tank is a 3P accessory that I shoved some dollar store thing inside, while the smaller one came with some T-Rex playset.

The final comparison with the G1 original.

Scorponok is summoning his creations.

TRANSFORM AND PREPARE TO COMBINE!

Lord Zarak
head into the combiner chest.

And BAM,
SHELLSHOCK is formed!

As you can see, Scorponok used the PotP Hungg-Gurr as a base. However, I didn't want to pay the big bucks from eBay to get it so I just ordered a K.O from AliExpress. It did the job.
Also, the paint keep rubbing off in places so I told myself "f-it" and I embraced the worn, battle damaged look fully.

The feet are 3D printed upgrades as well as the dual-cannons. The main gun, I customised fully using various parts.

The combiner is surprisingly very stable and can take some decent poses.

Comparison with my PotP Abominus and waiiiiiit a minuuuuuute.

It turn out that the Hung-Gurr K.O is actually OVERSISED compared to the original! by around 25%! This make the combiner much, much larger than the original. Also, it is still compatible with the titan-master storage, combiner ports, and pegs with the original deluxe limb bots. That's why I took so long to notice. Oh, and also, the normal bot's chest is made out of diecast. Because why not?
This resulted in the planned display spot to be much to small. So Shellshock and his team will have to share the space with my Dolfies for now.

I'm pretty glad how everything turned out.
What do you guys think?
