Androidz is a little known line of small robot figurines that was released while back. The only places I've ever seen these guys is at Toys R Us and a store called "Tuesday Morning." Each figure is a little over an inch tall, have a die-cast metal base, and wheels on the bottom that roll freely. There were playsets and bases available as well as the regular two-packs. The Androidz are divided up into two factions: Strikebots and Defendbots and I honestly couldn't tell you which is which because I lost the packaging some time ago. What I can tell you is that there was a website (now probably defunct) which has videos and tells the back story of the Androidz. Each Android also has a code somewhere on it's body that unlocks content on the website. Most of the time the code can be found either on the back of the figure or on one of the shoulder pads. I have a total of six in my collection and I will be sharing my thoughts as well as pics of each. Enjoy

First up, we have Moto Blasto which is one of my favorites. He's basically a cross between a robot and a motor cycle and he's armed to the teeth. A laser on one arm, a double-barreled cannon on the other, and a large cannon on his back. With all this he should've been called "The Road Warrior."

Second up we have Nightshield. With the weapons, large shield, and his dark blue/gray color scheme I think he has a very "law enforcement-like" look to him.

Third up is Triggerhappy and out of all six I consider him to be the weakest link. He has smooth articulation (arms only) but I feel that they should have gave him a different name. He only has one weapon which is a tiny little laser gun. No mounted cannons, no extra lasers, no blades or knives. It's simple, but it works somewhat. I suppose if you use your imagination (something I have a lot of, lol) he could shoot a laser from his one eye or shoot missiles from the two yellow circles on his chest. It's a stretch I know but I'm trying to give the guy a lil' something more to work with.

Number four is none other than the PK 5000. Don't know what it means but I do know that he's the most distinctive looking out of all six Androidz I own. Pearly white mixed with blue and just a few specks of red and black. It's obvious that this guy was meant for Arctic warfare.

Number five is the military themed Muzzle Flash. His weapons include an arm mounted blade, a triple barreled cannon, and a twin-barreled missile launcher on his back. Armed to the teeth, tough look, sturdy, great colors, definitely one not to be messed with.

I've saved the best for last. The military themed Tank! The name fits him because that's exactly what he is. A tank. He has treads instead of legs, an arm blade, and two large cannons on his back.

I picked up the full base set of 24 for a whopping 39p each on the single packed cards when they hit UK clearance chains last year. I've since picked up the 4 vehicles and kind of have an eye out for the playsets if I can ever find them dirt cheap, mainly for the repainted figures though as I doubt I'd be able to dedicate the space to leave them set up. Not worth what they were originally going for at US retail but a nice little line of retro styled toys if you can find them cheap.

Yes they were a little on the expensive side when they first came out. That's why instead of trying to get the vehicles and playsets I just stuck with the figures. Now as soon as they hit the shelves, they all disappeared just like the little Gormiti figurines. I've never seen any repaints though. Were they UK exclusive only?
I farted on my wallet in my back pocket. I call that "GAS MONEY."
The figures packed in with the vehicles and playsets are all repaints of figures that were single or twin packed. The only exclusives I'm aware of were the TRU sets of each factions base packed with the vehicle (packaging variation only) and track set that came with 6 figures that weren't available outside of that set. These never actually got a proper UK release, all mine were US overstock picked up from clearance chains.
