I'm worried about it too, the only Animated figures my TRU has are 3 Electrostatic Soundwaves and a Freeway Jazz. I fear the scalpers have already gotten to her.

Well the scalpers are definitely having a field day. I just checked Ebay and she is all over the place. Did an ended item search and it looks like the average price is a little under $40.00, with some selling for almost $60.00. Hopefully she and Ratchet will start hitting stores in mass soon and everyone will be able to get them. I remember when the TRU WWI Grimlock and Prowl made their initial appearance you would usually find two of each and when they were gone it looked like they were just done. Then about a month and half after the first appearances they hit big and had a surplus. I got lucky and snagged two Arcee's about a week ago.

I think her head's too big to fit in with the Classics line. Maybe shorten the neck and stick the Energon head on there, that could work...

Yes, yes I do. TFA Blur is close, but Arcee just doesn't fit, IMHO.

I totally thought about the nuts thing before how awesome GaGa is



I have to agree, Arcee looks great with the classics figures. Will definitely be sitting her amongst my main collection.


Now we just need a G1 Blurr to fill the gap. I currently use Cybertron Blurr cos the face is right, but he's too short imo, and TFA Blurr is just slightly too animated-y for my liking as a classics figure.


Maybe FP can fill my nitpicky needs?


EDIT:- wrt the head thing. It's not that Arcee's head is too big, it's that she's next to Hot Rod and he's got a pinhead. Compared to UM and Springer I'd say her head isn't too bad for size.

I think the proportions look more natural, there is no debating that Hot Rod does have a pin head

I will give you that her head could be a tad smaller for it to be perfect, but for me I don't think the small exaggeration will stop her fitting in nicely.


Though those wings are coming off. They make her look taller than she is, and Arcee should definitely not be taller than Hot Rod.

Don't like TransFormers animated, and Lady Gaga creeps me out....

But on the positive side, there is no way animated Arcee can NOT be better than ROTF Arcee, and this is coming from a guy who buys only movie toys.

Yes, yes, pinhead. I personally like the wings, but she'll be staying in her respective universe when she joins my collection anyway, so it matters not.

Well my fears were realized, I went by TRU today and saw 5 Ratchets and no Arcees.

Help, my Arcee has stress marks on her thumbs, what should I do? I live in Mexico, so you can imagine the pain it was to get her at all.

I too would like to see her with an Energon Arcee head.

A third party Arcee head designed to replace this tfa one with a more classics one would be cool, but getting a second Arcee would prove hard I think since popularity would no doubt shoot up.

That is, I'm afraid, a very common problem. Not much you can do except paint over the marks with a matching colour.

But there's little chance of her hands breaking apart, right? They should had revised the swords before releasing the toy.

I got my arcee and cybertron rachet today walked toy r us there they were. I really like arcee and as far rachet goes the punching action kind takes away from the figure but not enuff to make unworthy of a owning.

Hm, so one should sand the interior of the hand before placing the swords in it? I've got an Arcee on the way, so I'm glad I read this!

Also, has anyone tried putting the Energon head on TFA Arcee yet? And if so, are there pics?

I'd suggest sanding the swords, there's more material there than there is on the thumb, and if you sand an already-delicate piece that's been known to stress like that, you're just asking for possible trouble.

This coming from a guy that has no interest in a TFA Arcee (Don't collect animated), so my suggestion may have no basis on reality

I thought about trying the Energon Arcee head on the animated body just to see what it would look.

Problem is with the way E Arcees head is attached to the body it would take some effort to even get it off. I think it would also need some modifying to put it on Animated Arcees neck ball.

I think it might look a bit pinheaded anyway.

I've only seen one Arcee in my area and it was the last one on the pegs at the TRU I got it from.
