Well, considering that I cancelled my cable service because it was too much to pay to watch only three channels... no, not really.

Anyway, back on subject, this was still a good episode.

Yeah I dont have Cable either. I have Rabbit ears on a small 20 inch Tv. The internet is all i have. Plus I can put the episodes on my ipod.

You know I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now.

Doesn’t anybody feel bad about downloading a show that will air unchanged in their own country in just one week?

I mean if you lived in some remote area where they didn’t air animated and you otherwise would have no form of access to it I could understand, but your downloading something that’s going to air, I’ll say it again, UNCHANGED IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY IN JUST ONE WEEK!!!

Its just wrong.

What about thoughs of us who don't have access to Cartoon Network?

Anyway, take your votes, what should I put in my signature for my quote of the week. Has to be something said by Wreck-Gar in this episode.

I've been loving Animated, and I've always loved Weird Al....but I hated this episode. Not a mild dislike, mind you, but I absolutely abhorred it and will never view it again.

I know a lot of you loved it, so I won't bash it into oblivion, though I want to. I just found it incredibly irritating and redundant and I hate it.

That is all.

Well like I said, if for some reason you don’t have access to it, I understand. But if you download it just cause you’re a cheap @$$ then its basically theft.

Same here, although I’m the old fashioned type who prefers to use his VHS, You Tube is a perfectly fine method of watching it. I myself use You Tube if I just happened to miss an episode of an show.

I don't understand? Love Transformers + Love Weird Al = Hate this episode? That doesn't add up.

This was the most fan wanky episode EVER and funny as hell to boot. I couldn't stop laughing. I actully think they left Blitzwing out of this episode on purpus because someone might have literally died laughing if Wreck-Gar and Blitzwing met eachother.

And come on, Weird Al made a refrence to one of his songs, the original movie, and the character he was playing all with a single line. He even through his original alt mode at Bumblebee.

What's not to like?

Hell, I hate the Dinobots because "Me Grimlock can't speak without saying Me Grimlock at the begining of every sentence."

Wreck-Gar says "I am Wreck-Gar" at the begining of allmost every line after he gets his name and I still love him.

I'd have to say the only draw back to this episode is that Ratchet just became a bigger jerk than Sentinal Prime. He's normally just grumpy old man but in this episode he was actully a jerk and made even Sentinal look like a nice guy.

I have never liked Wreck-gar to begin with, ever. So the episode had that going against it from the beginning. Plus, as much as I love Weird Al, he was downright ANNOYING in this! How they made Wreck-gar repeat everything and act like a total buffoon....well, I wasn't amused. The Spike and Carly thing did nothing for me, either. Meh to the tenth degree.

The only part I found mildly interesting or amusing was when stupid head unloaded some trash on BB and Ratchet. And BB had a cool transformation sequence that we could kinda see. That's it.

I enjoyed this episode. Wreck-Gar did get annoying, and I was saddened that he didn't talk TV, but the number of G1 references made up for it by continually making me snicker. Was it just me, or did Wreck-Gar do a series of hand symbols while saying the Universal Greeting?

Spike and Carly were pure win. Although, when did Carly become a wuss? She used to be the gutsy, smart chick.

I loved Garbage In, Garbage Out for the fanwankdom alone.

My vote is for "Buster" if we're doing a baby names poll.

I was glad to see further verification that while Lugnut has a "religious" zeal about Megatron and the Decepticon future, Megatron is in it for the power. Yet another time I've watched TF:A and thought, "That's my Megatron."

I think you stated your opinion preddy well in this post. Didn't really sound like you were "bashing" the episode but just stating the reasons or your dislike of it. Nice job.

That said I do agree that Wreck-Gars habbit of repeating what other characters said to him was annoying the funnieness of the character outweighed the annoyingness factor for me.

I was dissapointed that he doesn't talk TV that's one of the main reasons I liked the original Wreck-Gar but there is a redeeming factor to make up for it. His head is a TV set.

I thought it was good.

Wreck Gar looks like Weird Al a tiny bit.

I like Weird Al Yankovich. His parody videos are funny.
I am glad he did not talk tv as it is put.

That got so annoying in the G1 series.

Did weird Al do his voice in the G1 series or something?

But I thought they could have been nicer to Wreck Gar.

I mean he obviously was not bad or he would have gone straight for the distruction.

I am glad he is alive and I hope he comes back.

I liked the G1 Wreck Gar too. He was a lot more togther than this one.

I liked how he was a Motorcycle.

I would rather Wreck gar was a truck of the same type but not filled with garbage,

And someone hates Carly and Spike to make those cameos.

It occurred to me how Sari is a lot more personable than other characters that have been in Transformers series.
She has her own personality and stands out.

I thought it was kind of a mediocre episode, though it had some inspired moments that went a long way to redeeming it. There was nothing epic about it, but it was enjoyably low-key.

I didn't enjoy the return of the Angry Archer. He should be forgotten about or decisively killed off.

I didn't enjoy Ratchet abusing an OAP. That was ugly. And his callous lack of concern for heavily pregnant G1-fanwank diminished him further.

And Wreck-Gar's repetition did get annoying at times, but certainly a fine reinterpretation of that character.

I found this episode to be quite enjoyable. I loved Wreck-Gar in the G1 series. I didn't like how he talked TV, got a little old, but he was still fun to watch. The new version was very entertaining. I loved how his head was a TV, and Weird Al did a spectacular job. I loved all the G1 references that people have mentioned, but my favorite part is when Wreck-Gar says he dares to be stupid. Made the whole episode for me.

I was initially skeptical of Animated when I fell asleep during Transform and Roll out. Then I watched the first couple of episodes and thought that it was just terrible, but by the end of Season 1, I was hooked. I think the show is getting better and better and is on it's way of surpassing Beast Wars as my second favorite series of Transformers, next to the undeniably perfect Generation 1.

I agree. It just gets better and better.

I was never really much of a skeptic of the show. I knew it wouldn't be as awful as many feared. But I'm as surprised as anyone with just how much they're getting right. The biggest surprise of all is just how much it actually entertains.
