Here are some preliminary images of a design I'm working on for Ravage, meant to be paired with animated deluxe Soundwave. His current alt mode is a spare tire cover. The overall size is the same as one of animated deluxe Soundwave's wheels (~1" in diameter). It is very preliminary, hence the only one screw head showing in the alt mode image, when there are actually four. I am thinking of adapting the alt mode to something more appropriate for Soundwave, like a round speaker that could mount on the roof.

These are some very nice images, and a clever design for Ravage. Are you using google sketch up? Also do you plan on having these parts machine made or handmade?

Thanks guys. I did the design in SolidWorks (its what I use at work for mechanical design). When the design is complete, the parts would definitely be machine made (CNC milled and Rapid-Prototyped/3d-printed).

Looks interesting. Can't wait to see how this turns out. I always thought Rumble and Frenzy should be amps to go with the band theme.

Color me jealous. How much does it usually go for?

I think the basic package of SolidWorks is around $3500.

Is that a rough draft? The whole design strikes me more as disney than transformer's animated. I think it has to do with the half circle feet, and the head really strikes me as unimposing.

Yes, it is indeed a very rough draft, hence the term "preliminary" I used to describe it. The model is at a point of representing the mechanics of transformation and the general size and shape of the figure. It is not at a point where much fine detail and styling has been applied. Thanks for the feedback.

This is a very interesting design for Ravage. I would definitely go with a speaker instead of a wheel cover though. This would continue the band theme that animated Soundwave has.
