Any Collectors Living In An Earthquake Zone?

The other day I started wondering about coping with a TF collection in an earthquake zone, I can't remember why. Are there any collectors here that live in one? If so, how do you display your figures?

Does having cats that love to jump up on top of the display bookcases, shaking said display quite dramatically, count as an "Earthquake Zone"?

So how does it affect the display? Do you display them? Are they all in alt mode or perhaps sitting down on sturdy chairs? Cases with doors?

No, but I'll make an allowance for people living an incredibly flatulent person.

I live in the Lower Mainland of BC, and we've been due for "The Big One" now for 50 years. I take few chances. I know that if there's a decent earthquake my collection is hooped to matter how they're displayed so I've ensured my collection

Interesting subject Mykltron.
Besides the fact that I simply can't display the way I want right now, this one of the few reasons why I don't display like most. I've said this before and if your a fan who's not threatened by quakes or hurricanes or twisters then your pretty fortunate. But you guys that have your displays with figures almost one on top of the other don't worry of think of things that may shake be it natural or un-natural? You guys got guts but that kind if displaying is just too much for me to do or think of!
Well Orange County just had it's recent earthquake 6 days ago and it was a 4-pointer stretching from Riverside to San Diego to Palm Springs. This reality of living in quake country makes me think of my passion and the idea of serious breakage or total loss. The only possible solution I can think of is display cases that lock keeping them inside if it were to fall forward or should the damn floor open up. Yeah it's a horrible fate!
