It suddenly occurred to me that Takara usually leaves hints of the next MP release somewhere on their newest figs. I'm not sure about the Seekers, Grimlock or Megs, but some of the Convoy releases had pictures of planned characters in their wrist communicators. MP-1L also has a quote from the Japanese version's voice actor say Convoy would be reborn.

So has anyone noticed any clues in MP-10?

I've been searching every inch of the fig and the trailer, but couldn't find anything that might hind of an upcoming fig.

Nothing that I've noticed so far, I'm just hoping it's not another white 'Ultra Magnus' repaint like they've done with every other Prime, or if it is, that another new mold MP follows quickly behind UM's release.

Are you forgetting the prototype images of Magnus? Or has that been debunked without me noticing?

I thought the MP-09 release hinted at G1 Galvatron...?

Personally, I want to see Soundwave, but some 3rd party place is already doing Soundwave and Blaster, IIRC.

You do realize that white repaint would include the trailer/armor for a change, right? That said, what's not awesome about that?

if they do a G1 galvatron then i am all over it! i think he one of the baddest looking megatron/galvatron.

You mean those blurry pics of a MP-10 fig with some rubbery-looking Magnus parts on him?

A lot of people are calling hoax on this, but no one's actually definitively proven that it's fake...yet.

If it IS real, I'm concerned about the price for something like that. MP-10 and his simple opening combat deck/repair bay trailer already costs over 200 dollars. Imagine a trailer that converts OP into Ultra Magnus.

Either way, I'm hoping for a MP Soundwave. "Sonicron" just don't cut it for me.

Galvatron WOULD be a good choice. But personally, I'm not too enthusiastic about it. I've never been a fan of Hot Rod(imus), and didn't buy MP-9, and couldn't afford Grimlock at the time. Galvatron would be meaningless to me since I don't own any MP figs that have ever interacted with him in the G1 series.

Yeah, if it did include the actual G1 style armor, I'd be all over it. In fact, it would be only the second 'white' Ultra Magnus I've owned (the only reason I got the Classics version was to get Skywarp, but it sure came in handy once I got City Commander, but I would have used Prime if I didn't have Magnus ).

I'd pay upwards of $300 for a true MP Ultra Magnus. I'd buy it from Takara today if it were available, but until then, I'll wait (and hope) that they actually get him right this time instead of doing another 'ghost' Prime (I always imagined he was Prime covered in that special metal alloy from the episode about the Hate Plague when I was a kid when I didn't have him merged with the trailer, which wasn't too often ).
