The clear nail polish trick has helped out my HFTD Axor and my classics Hound. I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to take care of the soft plastic on transformers weapons such as :
Axor and Lockdown's hand weapon
Drift's long sword.
Blugedon's sword
Any way to make the plastic less bendable and more sturdy?
Any way to fix soft plastic weapons?

I've heard getting the plastic really hot with a blow dryer or dipping them in boiling water will do the trick. I've never done it myself as the soft plastic doesn't really bother me. I would definitely do further research before attempting either of the methods I mentioned, but it can be done.

Dipping soft weapons in hot water or heating them with a blow dryer is really only recommended if a soft plastic weapon has become deformed or crooked. The plastic actually becomes even softer and pliable (almost like spaghetti!) due to the heat, enabling you to straighten it out or position it better. Then, when cooling it again in that position (with cold water for example), it should set back to its former hardness. However, this procedure will definitely NOT make the plastic more sturdy than it initially was!
The problem is that the plastic used is a rubbery 'safety' plastic, meant to bend easily so you can't poke any eyes out. You'd have to remove the plastic softener in some (chemical) way to make the plastic harder, but that procedure would also make the plastic more brittle.

I'm so meta, even this acronym...

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Honestly though, getting the parts re-cast in a sturdier material is the best solution.
