The badass anti-hero from Guyver against the following X-men:

Aptom is in his current incarnation (post Biofreezer absorbtion). And for peeps who don't really know Aptom, here's his powers

- Super regeneration, he can regenerate from 1 cell.
- DNA assimilation, Aptom can absorb DNA and add it to his own body (he got all his special powers this way). He can also infect another body with his own DNA (like in the movie "The Thing").
- Bio absorbtion, Aptom can absorb other organic compounds to repair his own body or to gain energy.
- Immune to telepathy, Prof X goes out of the window here.
- Can imitate anything he absorbed earlier (even if he only got a tissue sample). He can also create combos of various DNA samples.
- Superstrength (He can pretty much set his own strength)
- Flight
- Invisibility
- Can blend into the background (obsolete thanks to invisibility)
- Bio lasers (Really bloody strong)
- Bio missiles (regrow after each volley)
- Explosive chemicals
- Acid transfered through claws or sprayed, can also circulate this acid like blood.
- Electric tentacles (can also generate a electric shock through his body)
- Flamebreathing
- Freezing (recent power, he hasn't used it yet)
- Can create clones of himself by infecting other people or by simply splitting up.
- Can generate a field to protect himself from a megasmasher blast (imitation of Neo ZX Toyle's version)
- Adaptive armor (either very hard or flexible)
- Immune to extremely hot temperatures
- Aptom doesn't need oxygen
- Immune to pretty much all forms of disease

The X-men are Scaaaaaa-ruuuued

The only way I see them winning is if they trick him into absorbing Colossus, then getting Magneto to rip all of his cells apart at once.

Beast studies Aptom's various powers and quickly hurries off to the lab with Xavier whilst Jean links with everyone telepathically to co-ordinate their attack. Wolverine and Colossus give him targets to focus on whilst Iceman tries to catch him off balance (seeing as how freezing the guy doesn't seem to work). Kitty keeps him off balance as he constantly fails to strike her in her intagible state (with some last minute teleport saves from Nightcrawler). Jean gives Colossus a telekinteic field around his body to both increase the force of his blows but also protect him from Aptom's acid and energy based attacks. Cyclops and Storm try focusing their powers at some of the wounds opened up by Wolverine (Who is now having to take a moment to heal from the beating he's taken) but at most the group succeeds in stunning and staggering their oppoenent. Aptom steps up his game as the X-Men begin to tire and is on the verge of complete victory when *Poot* his powers start to fade. Beast has spent the time away in the lab modifying some genoshan Mutate shackles desgined to rob Mutants of their powers and now they are recalibrated for Aptom. WIth his defences at their weakest Xavier gives him a piece of his Psionic mind turning him into no more than a vegetable.

It's still a lost cause, all Guyvers are pretty much over-powered killers who are only equaled within themselves or against some other kind of super fun time ultra japanese world destroyers...

like kamen riders or giant robots

Jean holds it in place. Kitty phases her hand into its brain then solidfies it slightly. While unconscious the others wail on the guyver. If Jean has access to her phoenix powers she does this herself.

Having someone phasing their hand through you then solidfying has even hurt Count nefaria a villain regulary beats The Avengers which includes Thor, a god.

Also the Aptum is incapable of killing Wolverine or Iceman. Iceman is in theory immortal and one of the most powerful mutants on Earth. If he didn't hold back he could win this too.

Aptom can absorb Wolverine, or simply infect him (like he did with Gaster and Derzerb).

Iceman can be disintegrated by using Zx Toyle's ultimate attack (Aptom also has a blaster below his chest though it's inferior to a megasmasher).

He'll just reform from the water vapour in the air. Iceman can't be killed that way. In theory Iceman could just drop the temperature of every atom in Aptom's body to absoulte zero, killing him or at the very least turning into a statue.

I say in theory because Iceman's an idiot.

As for Wolverine it depends. I beleive the phalanx were shown to be capaable of absorbing him so maybe that would work.

Hence why I picked disintegrate instead of torch/vaporise/blast. There'd be no vapor, it's like when you bury a nuke deep underground, nothing of the material around it will be able to survive.

I believe it doesn't need to be the same water vapor that made up Iceman. He could reform from a puddle located a few miles away. He's just that powerful now. He's rated as one of the most powerful mutants on Earth, past guys like Magneto or Xavier.

There's serious discussions on comic forums how Superman or someone of his level would be able to kill Iceman. Short of blowing up planet Earth no ones got any good ideas.

If people are stuck on how Superman could put iceman down what chance does this guy have? Superman would murder him.

Well theres a good chance that wolverine healing powers will protect him form aptoms absorbing powers, much like how Neo Zektoles and Enzyme III's advanced imune system made them immune to the absorbing powers though it resulted in zektole having 3 days to live and the enzyme IIIs have 3yrs till they burn them selves out.

Their best bet for beating aptom would be for Beast to come up with the virus that temporaly disables his regeration powers and drains his stamina, though that would proberly mean getting hold of a sample to work with.

Frezzing might also work but it would to be quick before he can use darzerbs powers, flame breath of 3900C and the ablity to make his body extremly hot as well.

Kitty removes his brain, Nightcrawler teleports his head off, or Jean tk's his internal organs into mush and Cyc or herself (as Phoenix) vaporizes every cell, and the rest run distraction.

Oh yeah, and the Prof makes him think he's a little baby. How you ask. Because there's no such thing as immune to whatever...that's a no limits fallacy.

A Zoalord with the power to mindcontrol more then 1 million zoanoids can't even read his mind or sense where he is. Mindcontrol is out of the question.
