Orbital Bounce PlatformIronhide stood behind the glass at the controls for the bounce platform and watched his team arrive in dribs and drabs. It appeared that Prime had added another 'bot to the mission. Either that, or Blackstrike had just volunteered and decided to show up. A lot of bots would have checked on that - Ironhide didn't bother. The way he figured things, more Autobots meant more firepower and a better chance of completing the mission successfully. Besides, he was never one to turn away someone that was ready to kick some 'con tailpipe.
A light on the status board lit up indicating an incoming message. The old 'bot grinned in anticipation - that would be Hound with the coordinates.
>>This is Hound to Autobot HQ. I've located the vessel, sending co-ordinates now. Be adviced, its not in the safest of location, and there might be Energon leakage.<<
And sure enough, coordinates followed. Ironhide had just opened his mouth to speak and let everyone in the bounce platform room know what was up when he received a comm from Prowl. For once, he and the strategist were thinking along the same lines, and that was beyond rare. Prowl was logical and cold to the point of necrosis, while Ironhide was the epitome of emotion.
"Sounds like a plan
Prowl. Ah'm making the announcement now," he transmitted back, then clicked on the
shipwide PA and announced, "Aw right guys, we got coordinates from Hound. Ah'm sendin'
everyone here at the bounce platform now, and lockin' in the coordinates. Everyone else get yer chassis in gear and get down here pronto and bounce ASAP!"
Wasting no time, he matched words to deed, locked the coordinates so the rest of the team could follow, and activated the platform on a one astrosecond countdown. Giving him just enough time to join his fellow Autobots on the platform before the silvery light whisked them away to the gulf.
Incoming Transmission>>
Hex this is Blaster. Me and the boys are fine. We used the emergency bounce platform on the freighter and got dumped somewhere in Mississippi. I can't bounce from here... there are humans in the vicinity, so it looks like I'm going to need a ride back to base if you want to come and get me. I've picked up a signal from some of the human satellites to get my exact location. I'll attach coordinates. Don't bounce in too close. The local news reports are talking about people seeing a silver light from the sky, so we don't want any more attention. Blaster out.<<
OOC: Everyone who was at the bounce platform can make their next posts in the Deepwater Crisis thread. Everyone else... well you heard Ironhide
