I haven't seen this one yet at all - I'm trying to remember what was in it - a bot (not sure who) spinning in air - possibly transforming, possibly being blown away from an explosion. Like I said, it caught me off guard. I'll keep an eye out. It wasn't ground-breaking, but it did have some new stuff!

Sounds like Ironhide spinning and letting loose a missile. If it is well that's an old shot, but certainly something new to be shown on Australian tv.

No - I've seen that shot you are referring to (he spins in the air, missing a rocket, then fires one off himself). It wasn't Ironhide. The shot I saw was from 'behind' the bot. Goddam this is gonna bug me.

Sorry - I know this isn't toy news... but I'm just following up on a previous post. I've researched it a bit and the shot I was referring to above was one at night where a bot was being hit by (what looked like) Blackout in chopper form. There were a whole bunch of explosions in the background - looked like fireworks (probably missiles)! The bot was 'knocked' (I guess) and was spinning in mid air.

That sounds more like Scorponok ejecting from Blackout. I rememeber the look of fireworks in that one. Either that or entirely new shot I haven't seen.

Hey just a quick Q for you all:

Anyone here having the major issues with their figures like all the Yankees are? No-one at TAAU has reported any problems with their figures. I ask because Im hoping we may have not received the earlier problematic Bumblebee's and may indeed have the "fixed" version. Im assuming that Blackouts would be the same everywhere due to there not being a "fixed" version of him mentioned anywhere.

No Transformers Items for sale in next weeks Target Catalogue. Hopefully Kmart or Big W will have a sale instead.

Saw a transformers kiddy basketball hoop and stand next to the Spiderman one at the local K-Mart yesterday. Featured Bumblebee on the backboard.

Nope - just stress marks on some figures, and Brawl's arms not locking in to place.

No probs with Bumblebee, Barricade's feet, or Leader Prime for me. Hope wave 2 is okay too (Ironhide's waist, Starscream's missile launchers)!!!

Well I did my rounds today. Here's the lowdown for the Maroochydore/Kawana area:

- Target have a bit of everything except Starscream and Ironhide.

K-Mart - A couple of Voice-Changer Helmets, Voyager Blackout and Ratchet. That's it.

Big W - Nothing. I mean nothing. And by nothing I mean 4 protoforms and that's it. Pathetic. Though one of the guy's working there said Big W have a big toy sale lined up for the end of this month so we should except massive shipments then. Oh, one thing they did have however is new SWTF's. Particularly; Mace Windu, Saesee Tinn and Episode II Clone Fighter.

Mr Toys Toyworld - Everything. Including Starscream and Ironhide whom I picked up. Now I have the entire first wave.

The one thing that would have made the trip perfect was finding Tranformers Monopoly, but alas, no dice.

No surprises there, the early July Toy sales have become bigger, cheaper and better planned than the influx of toys brought in for the Christmas period.

I was hoping that there would be more sales on the Transformers figures before the movie enabling me (and other collectors/fans) to get the better portion of the figures/products they wanted before all the kiddies and bandwagonners jump on post June 28th, and buy the store out.

Wont be long now before there will be a sign out the front of every Target saying "only 28 days until the Toy Clearance" , and the ads for the Toy sales for Kmart, Myer, Target and Big W all vie for the same advertising timelots.

I haven't bought any proper movie toys, just real gear and robot heroes, but every deluxe bumblebee I've seen in the shops has been the "fixed" version.

I haven't had any real problems, except with Blackout. Even then, I'm pretty sure it's my fault for screwing up his automorph. Nothing's broken or stressed though.

I had legs being loose problems, had to tighten them, the stupid automorphing weakening the sides. I dare say Blackout is disapointing.

Alrighty, got all my brochures last night, and went online this morning:

No sales from any stores (havent checked Dj's, but I think its fairly safe to say they have zip)

TRU catalogue is running until the 11th of June, and all the other main stores (Big W, Target, Kmart, Myer) will have new catalogues starting for Thursday 14th. Seems DVD's are the big deal this week.

To be honest I dont really expect any Transformers sales until the Early July Toy sales. Although there were Cybertron sales on a fortnight before the big sales last year.

Just found Leader Class Megatron... Haven't seen him until now. Gotta say - seeing the figure in person has changed my opinion of him. Probably wait until he's on sale tho.

Well Queensland Toyworld's don't have him. Wait, no, some might. Their system of stock ordering and allocation is completely screwed. However, I know for sure the Sunshine Coast stores dont't.

Ahh. Odd how Toyworld seems to have wave 2, but everywhere else is stuck on wave 1.

I was VERY surprised actually! Couldn't believe my eyes. There were 2 Megs and 2 Primes. No voyagers tho - and only wave 1 deluxes. They also had Zoom Out 25x (Real Gears mini video camera) which I hadn't seen before either. Megs = $99.99, Real Gear = $16.95

It seems that the Scout price class has found it price across all the stores, everyone seems to have them for $17 now...

Nothing new in Blacktown Target, and I couldnt find the plushies in Kmart Blacktown last night, but I only ducked in briefly.

Will be checking Mt Druitt tonight hopefully.

Which Target Gutsman?

Target Mt Druitt has constantly restocked this week, they had all the Wave 1 figures. Also had the S7 scout figures as well. All of them look pretty ordinary in person.

Got Deluxe Brawl, will open him tonight or tomorrow, when I get time. Got my gf Cyber Slammer Barricade, as she had been mentioning him constantly since we first saw him last week. The gimmick designed for 6 year olds apparently also works a charm on 22 year old women as well. It is not a pull back action as I first thought, you simply push the "robot" mode down, place the car down on a hard smooth surface and away it goes!
Funnily after she had played with it for 15 minutes she realised it was a Decepticon Baddy, and not Prowl as she had first thought he was.

Damn I wish they'd get here already. Mind you the line was only officially released a week ago, so I guess I can be patient.

On a second note, I wouldn't have the money to pay for the figures right now. What with having to go to Sydney on Tuesday to see the movie and all. MUHAHAHAHAHAH! :P
Gutsman Heavy, Burn, congratulations also. Sheogorath, i_amtrunks, I want to see your hands in the air and tell me you're coming. Don't disappoint me now.

I can't afford the trip

The target was Tea tree Plaza. I was shocked how much better Megs looked in person, not $100 better mind you.

Nope, wont be there, I dont think I entered, my memory really is that bad at the moment.

I'll be watching it on the 28th on the largest standard cinema screen in Australia though. Might even see it at the Drive in... that would be pretty cool.
