If that was a fortnight ago, then yes, yes it was. Although they were flogging them off for $30 a pop, we still got them sighted before they hit mass release across the USA.

Try visiting www.otca.com.au sometime, its a good Aussie based board with plenty more sightings than here.

SO has everyone been able to find the Wave 3 Aniamted Deluxes, as well as all the Animated Voyagers released thus far?

Some Kmarts have even had wave 4 deluxes (Swoop, Sentinel Prime), but the sightings have been very few, and seem to be in random stores.

Reports from Victoria that Animated Supreme Roll out Command Optimus Prime is incorrectly priced at Big W, and selling for only $40.

Supreme Rollout Optimus Prime in Australia

Postby Edgeguts » Sun Oct 26, 2008 11:27 pm

Just purchased 3 'Animated Supreme Rollout Optimus Prime" figures from local BIG W store for AU$39.95 each. I think someone may have made a mistake with the barcodes in the system as the Voyager class figures sell for Au$45.00+ down under. But I won't complain

The pricing error gave the Supreme class figures the Cyber Stomping price point.

Should be rectified in time for the Big W sale starting tomorrow 30th October.

Grabbed Swoop and Sentinel on the weekend from a K-Mart. They were the last ones there but perhaps they'll start popping up more often now.

Sales galore in time for silly season. For the week of Thursday the 4th to Wednesday the 10th....

Sam's Warehouse (Formerly Clint's and the Warehouse) is selling Movie Voyagers for $18

TRU and Kmart are selling Animated leader figures for $70, with the TRU versions coming with a bonus Activator.

Big W has various figures on sale including Activators, Bumper Battlers, and Cyber Stompers.

Damn. $70 + an activator. That just may tempt me to get a 2nd leader Bulkhead so I can give mine two normal arms.

Now how do I explain this to the girlfriend...

I went to my local shops today and saw all sorts of stuff that I hadn't seen before.
Myer had 25th Anniversary G1 Prime, Superion, Bruticus and Activator Lockdown.
Target had 25th Anniversary G1 Prime, Superion, Bruticus, Special Team Leader Legends 5-Pack and Aerial Rivals Legends 5-Pack.

If you're looking for the Special Editions, they are in some TRU stores as well as Kmarts.

Hope Cyclonus turns up soon :D

Cause I've been waiting for ages for it to pop up on NZ shelves and he's nowhere to be seen :( just Bulkhead and Megatron

Hey rabstanz, yep, TFA Ultra Magnus has been in retail in Australia since.. I think it was late September. And he's still on the shelves now (particularly in Myer, but also Kmarts).

He's pretty damn awesome (I mean, his first name is Ultra) so I hope you can get a hold of him.

Postby Stamus_Prime » Thu Jan 15, 2009 11:21 pm

Are there any other Australian collectors on this web site? If so please list what state you are from and where about you saw a classics figure and which figure you saw.
Curretnly on hot list for the classics are
Nemisis Prime

If there are any other fans in Australia, Sydney please list if you have seen these figures in stores and where about you saw them.

Just curious if any one has seen a classics nemises prime or the 25th anniversary editions. Plus does any one from the australian transformer fans live in nsw or around the sydney area? I was just wondering because I wish to make a gathering up a small one just a lunch meet and greet sell some figures or trade some figures and make friends. Also I'm after g1 dinobots particular grimlock and swoop since I won slag snarl and sludge for 150 on ebay including postage. Also any energon figures like shock blast and rid prime hands. I asked in the carbombya thread but no one answered so i thought I would ask here as well.

Hi Stamus,

Do you mean 25th anniversary Optimus Prime, because that has been around for a while at Myers and TRU.

I'm from Perth by the way, and I gotta say Seibertron is an awesome site (my favourite TF news/forums/community site), and there are people from all over here, but for discussing Ausralian toy sightings and organising meets, I find Ozformers aka OTCA is very useful.

Links here for toy sightings: http://otca.com.au/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=11

And here for meets:

And here for trades:

Na sorry i heard bad things about ozformers, i heard at supanova (giant anime scifi comic convention for people who dont know) from a couple of guys that the main guys who run that site are preety much a**holes, i don't really wish to be associated with that type of crowd i like seibertron.com. I have came here for ages and checked out the links and articles and i only decided to make the leap and become a proper member a not so long ago.

But when i said about the 25th anniversary i meant the cyclonus and cheetor, hound and ravage and star scream figures cause after that series more are coming out and i cant wait to see if they will actually make a PROPER springer figure and others from 2010 like scourge and the sweeps now that would be awesome.

Well I don't know about the guys that run the site, but the people who post there seem fine and it is definitely useful for Australian sightings. Specially since the sightings stuff on Seibertron doesn't really seem to work for international sightings (I tried adding to the sightings database a couple of times here but when trying to add the particular stores which apparently get sent to someone for authorisation and they never got added).

Anyway, Cyclonus, Cheetor, Hound, Starscream, Dinobot, Inferno, Vector Prime and Smokescreen have just been spotted at Minotaur (specialty geeks/comic store in Melbourne) yesterday. It likely means they will start showing up at retail in Oz in the next 2-4 wks.

Yes, I am a member at OzFormers. No, I am not a spokesperson for them nor am I some suckhole fanboy.

That being said, you should make up your own mind about OzFormers.

And also, arseholes are everywhere, even on this site, but I most certaintly would never write someone off just on the word of someone else, that's not fair. You should form your own opinion of things.

But yeah, you can stay here, but the Australian community on Seibertron.com is a little small. If you're okay trading with folks overseas go for it, but you'll find that your best deals are to be had at places like OzFormers or even TAAU
