Probably stretching the definition of "Transformer" here a bit, but the VF-1 Valkyrie still counts, right?

The 1/100th scale action figure was an awesome find some years ago (hence the yellowing plastic). It was a choice between this one and the one with the more triangular face. There was no "Jetfire" there, sadly. I chose this one because of the jolly roger! I feel I made the right choice.

I have a near mint *cough* reissue gift set of G1 Devy and the first release of the X-Transbots 'upgrade' set but the connector at the shoulders/head doesn't fit! Gotta love X-Transbots!!

I have the Constructions, but the parts I have to form Devastator all came from dollar store knock-offs. Not only that, but my Hook is the G2 yellow one because every time I find G1 Hook one of his legs is broken off, and it's always the same leg too!

So, I'd heard that PCC Mudslinger was brittle, and I could tell when I got the toy new that the plastic felt of a different quality than the normal transformers fare. I didn't think that he was quite so brittle as this though. I simply picked him up and casually went to transform him, then the leg snapped cleanly at the thigh, just above the knee joint. Irreparable unless I can get a whole new leg. Oh well, maybe I can spot one at a flea market or something.

At least I got a fun pic of Knock Out's quackery out of it!

That looks entirely repairable with super glue as long as the joint isn't too tight.

I suppose I could give it a shot. I might need a stronger brand of super glue though, the stuff I have doesn't seem to do the job for other things I've tried to fix anymore.

Gorilla Glue is amazing. It's how I fixed my PCC Leadfoot, who also suffers from some QC issues...though he can no longer be a torso or swivel his right bicep, he can still transform just fine.

I bought the CrazyDevy kit some years ago and it's expensive... but it's the best for G1 Devastator (or Encore obviously).

I have a KO Devastator from years back on my shelf and been somethimes eying the "Junkion Blacksmith" upgrade-kit, but it's sold-out everywhere (and kinda expensive..)

After every set of 20 reviews, I gather up the figures I've reviewed and do a group shot. It used to be that the group shots would be cumulative, but as awesome as they looked, I couldn't keep doing that. WAY too many figures and not enough surface space. Anyway, here's a few pics I took for the last set of 20 I've done!

Man, Cannonball looks freaking awesome. Prime Ratchet is a pretty great mold.

And holy crap that shot of masked Jetfire...makes me want it... What parts on new on him?

Edit: That's the Takara version, right? Man those guns look so much better when they're not just doused in red chrome.
