For a long time I was opposed to 3rd party and KO figures. I didn't need them and I didn't want them and I even treated them like they weren't worth my time or money.
So how the hell did I get here?
I mean, I got KO Leadfoot to fill a hole in my collection, not knowing that there would be Studio Series for him.
I got the oversized Strongarm because her deluxe figure felt too small for me (even on the show she was a huge police truck that somehow ended up with the second smallest robot mode, I hated that)
I got Bierfa (the blue one in the back who I will from now on be calling Rampart) because I liked the look of her and because she's not a KO or an existing character.
I got Comera because I liked the idea of a female Dinobot and this was before I knew about PoTP Slash.
I think I finally broke with Athena because I just wanted her. She looks good and poses well and I love the car mode!
And the KO oversized Slash I wanted just because.
All this happened in the span of a year. I'm not angry about it, just disappointed in myself because I feel no regret in taking this path. Oh well, at least I'm not getting every 3P figure I see and none of these cost me over $60. I mean I have another one coming, and she set me back $100 but that's probably the highest I'll go for a 3P or KO figure. Ah well. Like I said, no regrets, I like what I've got here... and I only realize now after looking at them that they're mostly female. Well I guess I'm robosexual now. Thanks a lot internet.
