I like the way I look in steel-belted radials.

Prepare for surgery..!

I know his chest is slightly mistransformed, I wanted a clearer shot around the head area.

He is in dire need of a paint job, though.
Once I get back from everywhere I'll attack him with my brushes and paint (currently in Italy).
Even just some gold/yellow on the wheels and door handles, light blue on the spear and maroon on the shins.

i did not not go nuts painting mine because the reprolables set take care of it nicely. but what i painted are the rims, his staff silver, grill, knees, arms and shoulders, his head and face and his hands. all the rest I'm gonna use reprolables to complete it. if i were you i would wait.

I did consider the set, but as I already have the paint and brushes, and have been building up a steadier hand, I'd rather try my own paint job! If all else fails, I'll go to Reprolabels.

It would be minor touch-ups, namely rims, inside hood and knee/elbow joints in gold/yellow, and shoulders and shins in darker red/red.
I'm actually fine with his head as it is.

I'll go back and have a look at yours, and another couple I saw, just for reference.

i don't know why people complain about shockwaves hight. he is the same hight as a classics seeker. i love prime jazz and shockwave.

Well, Shockwave should be as tall or taller than Megatron, shouldn't he? And the Classics Seeker mold is smaller and punier than Classics Bumblebee.

I guess it depends on how you display them all.

I really don't mind him being smaller. He gets the Brain-size (from Pinky and the Brain) of the evil genius, and that is good enough for me.

If that works for you, great, but it's not really how Shocky is.

Still, this is the best Shockwave yet (although I don't actually have it yet) and it seems more successful than Energon Shockblast. But I can see myself replacing him if there's ever a better one made.

Although it's digressing a blit fromt he main point of the topic.

That's so ironic (and awesome) you posting this pic man! I've had my Tidal Wave/Shockwave out for about 2 weeks now. I feel they sold him short by not giving him a primary weapon. So to compensate Star Convoy's double barrel gun pegs on perfect on any hand and from the few PCC I got Pinpoint mounted on the orange peg on the bridge. I need someone darker than Pinpoint but he works for now...awesome pic dude! :APPLAUSE:
