It's the hollow, molted shell of one, specifically the cicada (those things are *everywhere* here in the summers). The actual cicada has long since flown off to do cicada things.

Took this photo for a thread over in the third party forums, as it was inspired by a promo pic of Fansproject's Stunticons homage. Basically, I wanted to recreate the photo, using Autobots.

And I figured, what the heck. Aside from the small matter of Prime's trailer, these are all official Hasbro figures. So for those who never venture into the dark territory of the third party forums, I thought I'd share the photo here as well.

Before taking it, I'd originally planned to use one of the Lamborghinis in the photo. (Probably Sideswipe.) But when I was assembling it, I ended up grabbing Smokescreen, instead, making for a team of racing vehicles, with Optumus along to supply his trailer's support capabilities. And so we have the Autobot racing team!

I don't normally buy repaints, but I really like how the red Blight looks:

Dunno why they kept the name "Blight". He's totally different, color-wise, sharing only the visor color.

I'm definitely getting the green one, Rot Gut, when he comes out. Such a fun little ogre mold.

Blight is my favourite Predacon Terrorcon mold, next to Windrazor. The red repaint keeps wanting to remind myself to a G1 monster, I just don't know who. :-?

I had assumed that red Blight was, if anything, a loose BW Infeno homage, as they both are primarily red with turquoise stripes, though looking at Icepick's inner robot form it looks like red Blight is supposed to be him -- not just in color, but in bodyform and alt mode, too. Or could be repurposed as him, at least.
