Yeah, I had told myself that I was only going to get the Autobots and Decepticons, and not bother with the Predacons except for the large Predaking figure. Then I bought Ripclaw because she was on sale, then I bought Laserback, then Hun-Grr, then Twinstrike, and now I'm planning on grabbing all of them (or as much as I can). It's a slippery slope.

I'm hoping to see the Preds in 5-Below or such discount stores. Hate to sound like a cheapskate, but $15 is just too much for something that only stands up to transform.

Grind Rod you probably have to hit ebay for. Aurora however is on clearance at BBTS with quite a few in stock.

Yeah....Grindrod is sold out at bbts. I was hoping to get him for a reasonable price cause i drive a Jeep Rubicon myself and the novelty of a newschool Jeep TF was too tempting. I guess i'll chek out Ebay.

Voyager Predaking is a great figure, even in his tiny-ness. I would definitely suggest buying that one, even if just for the amazingly well-thought-out transformation, which leaves virtually no kibble in either mode. Same with Grimwing: though less spectacular, it's a gorgeous mold.
My only complaint about Predaking is the odd angle for its wings, that really don't work in robot mode. (And mine has a floppy knee joint..)

As for the deluxes, yeah, I'd recommend getting for a lot less that retail price. They're fun, but not $15 fun, as you say.

I love the TFP Preds, probably just the thing where they're all Dragons (I like dragons). I'm glad to hear that the voyager Predaking is worth it, I'm planning on getting the Cryofire Predaking repaint and just calling it Cryotek.
