Don't know if its my monitor if he's really jsut a very bright pink. Looking at my own Liokaiser he should be a very dark Pink. Not quite red, but definately not as bright as thats looking to m righnot. That head looks great on there though.

Spray can. Krylon Crafters Metallic.

All I really use now pretty much is Krylon or Dye.

KEWL! Thanks for the info, I really love all your customs, but I was wondering if there was any way to kinda beef up his lower arms, they looks to skinny.

No. I like them as they are. The winner of the future auctions for them can transform them any way they like when they get him but for now he's mine and this is how I like it.

Sorry. lol

UPDATE!

Here's Gaihawk!! (So far, again, final paint aps later)

Enjoy!!!

I wasnt trying to say that it didnt look good as is, i was just wondering if there was a way to kepp the transofmation for them, but make the for arms a littl bigger. I know that the normal transformation doesnt really allow for elbow articulation.

Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute... Are you looking at the actual forearms (which are rather beefed up - especially with those guns on them) or are you looking at the barrels of the guns that extend from their bases upon the forearms? Because the forearms are actually of a rather good size and, anything missing, the base parts of the guns compensates for such things.

He's pink. More of a dark pink, yes, but I rather like the lighter color more.

And sometimes you work with what will have the best results and the paint I used has not chipped once after many transformations back and forth.

Besides, the Teal/Green of the main guy isn't compleately accurate nor is some of the heads on some of these guys (Depending on what you are going by for referances.)

I like to do amalgams of choices sometimes and sometimes I just go with what I like better. It's a choice preferance. If and when you make yours you may do it purple if you feel that this figure should be purple instead of dark pink. That's what is great about kitbashing...you have a choice and most over all the choice is made by why you like best. Some won't like the color choices but it's just a differance in degrees of shade. The end result, and that I like it, is what matters to me. Nothing is personal.

I dont know, cause now Im just confused, The combined LioKaisers forearm looks on the small side. I was just wondering if there was a way to get the other leg to be able to swing forwardwith the left one, but looking at the pics, there isnt, so TFM Im sorry if you felt as if I was insulting you, that was never the intent. I was just wondering if there was a way to make the forearm more proportioned to ther rest of it. That was all, but irregaurdless of if it were possible, it still looks fantastic as is, so your custom, your rules for it.

Hey, no offence or insult taken. I'm sorry if my words seemed hrash but they weren't meant to be anything but fact of preferance. Thus why I added a LOL at the end of my comment back. Trust me, if there was some way to beef the arms up and still have them that poseable I'd do it but this is my best and only real option if I want to do that and beleive me when i say that it really doesn't look as bad in person.

Like I said, when you see the end result you'll see that they actually look quite well and really does help to simulate the form of the Original LioKaiser's proportions. You could try it yourself if you have the main Body of Superion Maximus, both of those same arms (of course you have to pull the wing backpack pins out to place them the way I did) and one of both the legs I have picked out and you'll see how well it actually looks.

I wish that I did have the body, maybe eve just one arm, but I dont, nor do I have funds to afford those parts right now. the arm bots waist moves right? How soes it look if you turned his waist to a 90 degree angle and just used his hips as the elbow.. maybe not, that would probably make is forearms look to bulky.. nvm... its good as is, dont change nothin. :D

So since it looks like no one else has said it yet, I really like the use of Divebombs head on this guy. Alot. It def. reminds me of the old liokaiser bot heads.

I used the same head for Hellbat or whatever his name is except I cut at the face details with my scalple to have more of a flare around the fave like the original figure.

It stands out. Two figures more should be done tonight so keep an eye out.

All right. Here is a 75% done update. I have all the main componants there but I'm still painting/working on Deathcobera and the car guy.

But for now enjoy how they look all together. I will post a picture with my next update with the regular arm transformation. (I.E. I don't want to hear anymore complaining about how the arms look this way...)

Enjoy people!!

You will get no such complaints from me. I rather like the raver pants look. (by this I just mean slender arms compaired to big calves)

Well, that arm transformation was never final. There is a much better arm transformation now but it look me having to limit hand movement and copping up a peice I didn't want. (Nose guns on ships)

Anyhoo, hopefully you'll all see it later.

TFMaster's having some pc troubles right now, so he asked me to upload and post this pic of the new arm transformation.

Looks better, but I still think there's something missing. There's a peg hole on each arm. I suggest using them and add some sort of forearm attachment to increase the arm's size a little. Maybe have guns on them too or something.

The thickness looks good to me. I'm thinking the arms look a bit to long. Atleast in this pic. Is it just the camera angle tfm. I don't see anything that could be done about it though

No, they don?t look like he removed the wings from the swivel joint on his back. In fact, it looks like they are in the standard position they would be in when in robot mode.

He's correct and you're blind. It's on the chest...

I actually did remove the pin and all I do is repeg then into the hands and then rest each side peice around the minicon port for support.

I also replaced the pin with a custom one that is actually an old nail so I still have that flat head area of the pin to easily pull out when needed.

It is indeed a custom alt transformation that requires me detaching the head/backpack area to get it to look like that.

I'm wondering how hard it would be to switch the front of the chest with the back? Cut the tabs off the back and glue them to the chest and then just pin the wings on permantly. It would give the figure a g1 combiner look causr the connector port would fold out of the chest. You could even scratch build some exhaust vents to go on either side of it or use stickers.
