This is a tough one for me to buy as Bulkhead's height was, maybe, deluxe sized. But his bulk was definitely more than deluxe.

All in all, I completely agree with your point. I do think it's silly to try to shoehorn figures into particular size categories, particularly when only looking at one dimension, like height. I much prefer to get some comparison pics with well known figures. Barring that, saying something is approximately Voyager sized can help until those pics come out.
