I own both the first movie deluxe and DOTM deluxe Barricade. A few weeks ago, the "POLICE" logos on his doors started to chip and flake off. I upgraded to the DOTM version, and now today, after just a week of owning the thing, have noticed a spot missing on one of the logos! I only transformed him twice, other than that he's been on the shelf in vehicle mode. Thing is, with the new one I can't remember if I got it like that or if it started to chip like the other. Does anybody else have this problem with either Barricade?

It's a universal thing. Thick painted on paint apps flake off at the slightest touch. Luckily, the Human Alliance Version has better paint, but just barely. Good thing he's the best version though. I recomend him HIGHLY

Yeah, Iv'e been meaning to ask you if you've ever sone Officer Barry. Was wondering if you could give me a pointer on pointers? I want to give my HA Barricade a Hand. Any Ideas? Cut up Ice Cream Tub?

man, my first barricade is a mess. the doors are almost wiped clean of paint. but i played with mine so its understandable. my DOTM one is just fine because i have not played with it much. im sure reprolables can help with the first movie barricade but the DOTM one you will just have to be careful with.

Ahaha! Yes, ice cream tubs are the future!

I made a matching hand for HABarry by taking a mold of the other. It looks quite good. I had to drill a hole in the left wrist to embed a magnet to attach it. I put twisty-ties inside the hand so it's somewhat poseable.

That sort of happened to my original Movie Barricade, although it wasn't all that bad, and it could have been the result of me trying to customize it with permanent markers and tape. I later got Premium Barricade, which is still fine. You could get the Reprolabels to replace some of the paint apps.

It takes practise. I've been improving figures with a scalpel since about 2006. Start small.
