Wave 20 features a set of 7 figures with Collect-N-Connect Nekron. The

$150 for Masterpiece Rodimus sounded like a good deal to me. Use him as a display piece in Robot Mode and use the Toys R Us Version to serve as the vehicle modes if need be.

Only because they are trying to unload that version in favor of the second one that is supposed to address the problems.

Personally, I have been rather upset with BBTS in the last months. They have raised prices on many items, even after they were already listed at lower prices with no warning of possible hikes.

BBTS is becoming Brian's Toys all over again and it's really sad.

But not so good if you already spent $200 on the first version of the figure.

Since when has a masterpiece figure EVER been discounted by such a large amount? Last year I figured I might as well pre-order Takara Rodimus, as deal hunting on ebay would take too much time and the prices tend to remain consistent for a long time.

I feel like I have been kicked in the nuts.

The good news is that people who complain about the Hasbro version not having a trailer should now shut the hell up. For only $30 more on BBTS, they can get the Takara version with the more accurate paint scheme and trailer.

Ummm....

The TRU version is $60.

The Takara version 1 at BBTS is $150.

That is a difference of $90, not $30.

Takara should have taken back the remaining stock of version 1, but that would have made them reputable.

That assumes you can actually find one at TRU. There will be a new batch available at TRU online in August, but they will only have 89 available. After that, there will be no more.

You are comparing apples to oranges. $60 at TRU does not factor in the cost of your time hunting and searching in local stores. My statement about the trailer costing $30 more on BBTS is correct. The TRU version is listed there at $119, while the Takara version is listed at $149. My exact statement was "For only $30 more on BBTS", which is correct if you do the math.

They have them both priced seperately however the green one is half the price of the red one. I would prefer the red one but I like the price of the green one. $39 is a good price to pay for this. $80 is still too expensive.

I agree that the BBTS price for Hasbro Masterpiece Rodimus does seem high, considering the last time I checked people were selling him on ebay for $99 shipped (which is what I paid for mine and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive).
