The set is available for pre-order for 15.99 and includes two heads for deluxe RTS/United Kup-one with "cygar" and one without-and a carrying case. What's new on BBTS is a picture of the case for the heads which apparently is designed to fit into Kup's bed when he's transformed into his alt mode.

So in truck mode he carries around his spare heads in a giant cooler? Interesting take on the Headmaster gimmick, and morbid enough to be in line with his Spotlight.

I saw that this morning so I pre ordered it. I prolly won't swap the heads because I like the head it comes with but maybe I'll use it for my United Kup.

Any advantage to ordering through BBTS for 4 bucks more + shipping, versus direct through igear for 12 dollars with FREE shipping? Because I'm not seeing it... Maybe I'm missing something.

*Edited to apologize if that came across as snotty. I'm generally wondering if anyone's had a bad experience going with igear directly?

I saw this earlier today and just had to laugh. Unless there is some very bad reason not to go directly through iGear I can't understand why you would pay DOUBLE (after shipping of course) for these 2 heads.....reason and common sense must take hold somewhere. Don't get me wrong I love BBTS as much as the next person.....just not that much.

it looks good but something is missing.... maybe they can add there version of his (G1 rifle) just like the (blaster upgrade kit) from venksta from renderform and what fp did with the add on kit for cc ultra magnus double changing blaster... becuase his original rifle that comes with it is so dam long...and for an upgrade to be called an upgrade really needs to up grade not just a head...well heres hoping we still got lots of time for an official change in plans :PRAY:

...and one more thing they should have upgraded blurrs head to look like his g1 head mold now thats what i have really been hoping for and a couple of diffrent junkion (wreckgar) heads now thats an upgrade :grin:

The only real advantage is the sense of security you get when dealing with BBTS. If there is a problem with the actual product you receive they will promptly take care of it. The only item I've received directly from iGear arrived safely with no issues, so I can't comment on their customer service. It would obviously be more of a hassle to return something to them, and their shipping time about two weeks.

That's an important point.

I automatically went to BBTS, as they are my go-to guys for online purchases, then I checked iGear, and realized I had ALREADY preorderd from them. DUH 8-}

I've bought from iGear several times before and have been happy with their direct shipping, so I see no reason not to buy direct from them.

Well, FP might give me a reason in the future to stick stuff in my Pile of Loot, this is a big year for them. But otherwise, it is a tad expensive (almost double?!) to be getting it from BBTS at full shipping price. If your buying anything else though it's good to get it from them, they'll handle any problems if stuff is defective.

meh, the head he originally comes with doesn't really match the teal plastic that makes up the rest of the figure. I cant imagine that it will be too off to be a problem. But if so, i guess i just ate 12 bucks and I can live with that.
