I doubt my TRU is actually having this event. They've got ads in the store up for some other in store event.

They did say the had Sentinel in, though. Wonder if I can borrow $25 from the wife...

it frakin figures im moving tomorrow and i doubt ill be able to get out to a TRU, i doubt id buy anything but i wouldnt mind checking out the figures. Why is it only 2 hours and what are they going to do with the lose figures afterwards?

Given that movie tickets are running about $9.50 these days this is a good deal. I would totally go to this event if I wasn't busy w/ my regular Saturday stuff.

Hehe thank god I'm only 16 years old. Look like a 12 year old and the size of a 13 year old~ So it wont be weird at all if I were to attend it

this could totally backfire. the figures I've purchased so far (Sidewsipe, Skyhammer, Shockwave) have all had multiple parts popping off just removing from packaging never mind during transformations.

and has anyone actually got Shockwave's chest panel to seat properly? I bought two and both were unseated in package and won't seat at all leaving a gap in robot mode.

2 good questions, which I can answer since I work there and actually ran that Megazord event I mentioned in my last post. I should've known this thread would force me to fess up.

1. Because of a strict TRU policy of having just one person run it, not even sparing a second person to give them a bathroom break. Okay, so it was probably my fault for not asking, and I shouldn't complain about 2 extra hours on my paycheck, no matter how long I held it in.

2. The Megazords just sat in a cart in the break room for a month. I'd gladly retie twist ties to get any robot toy back in shape to sell, but the Zords were held in with zip ties that I had to cut, so I was stumped. They may have been sent back with the defectives, I'll have to check. Sometimes instructions for these events just get lost in the mail, be it the fault of the retailer or Hasbro.

Don't get your hopes up for them being given away as free samples at 4:00.

Go to the Customer Service desk, show them your receipt, and tell them you never received your free ticket.
They'll write down on the receipt that you've been given the ticket, and then you're free to go. No muss, no fuss, just a matter of waiting in line.

It's how I got one, just this past evening...when I bought the Ark. (FRIGGIN' AWESOME, GO BUY ONE, PEOPLE!)

Did anyone go? I made it there with my son and his friend. Not much there though I scored a free poster, a free pair of paper 3-D glasses with TF symbols on them. Best part of the day was using the coupons on the poster to buy Leader class SP for $27. That was a deal I couldn't pass up! They also had the Ark in stock for $28, it looks really cool but I passed because all the boxes were smashed and I didnt see myself taking it out to play with. Anyone else score anything?

That's beat sorry to hear that. I checked out two stores and both had the same thing going on a small table with a few deluxe DOTM figures out and one Kre-o figure to put together.

I went by and didn't see any shenanigans going on. I did get leader Sentinel Prime for $35 and got a free movie ticket, that was pretty sweet.

The TRU in my town only had Deluxe Ratchet, Cyberverse Hatchet, the Cyberverse trailer Megatron, and Kre-O Basic Bumblebee. When I got there, Ratchet was fine, Hatchet had his legs ripped off, Megs had his arm popped off, and Bumblebee was completely disassembled.
