Beast Wars 20th anniversary is nothing about transmetal? I want to optimal optimus.

Well there were those redecos of Prime First Edition Megatron as Rampage and 2010 Terradive as Depth Charge, but beyond that, I don't think there've been any neo-classics style updates for Transmetals.
It's worth noting that that Rampage is a bit...meh. Because his head had to fit the mold, it's positively TINY.
Depth Charge is fantastic though, that Terradive mold can do no wrong.

Depth Charge was pretty amazing in that mold; that was a lot of traction out of a random retail figure.

Personally I'm more in to the organic beast modes, so the lack of Transmetal love doesn't bother me that much. I can't go to Botcon this year but I would love to have that Transmetal 3 Megatron, though I'm not looking forward to seeing the second-hand Ebay prices. My wallet weeps.

Why would they, this isnt the 20th anniversary of transmetal toys yet.
Also Hasbro confirmed, the only retail figure for beast wars coming this year is Platinum Optimus Primal. Nothing else.

Transmetals didn't come out until 1998.
And almost none of them need any updates.
If you want Optimal Optimus, just buy the original. Or the Titanium.
