On behalf of TFCog & Fandubbing in general I thought now would be the time of all places to spread the word regarding this very important topic.


First off I would like to say welcome to the Auditions of the Fan Video of Beast Wars: Dark Glass. Now to the official details.

This will be a Adaptations GJ Production in conjunction with SCP21|Studios.

This video project will be aiming at having group recording sessions using Skype to coordinate. With being recorded with an "ensemble" cast, you'll have to be familiar with Skype. Mind you, Skype will only be there for cast members to hear each other and to interact. You each will be required to be recording on your own, having hit "record" on your software at the same time. That way, there is a high quality recording present on your end, which will be then sent to me so I can deliver these to Gabe for animation. MOST recording sessions will be scheduled around everyone's work in order to allow for group recordings. We could even do scene breakdowns between characters if it would be easier.

EX: Megatron and Primal don't interact, therefore they won't need to record together. However Dinobot and Rattrap would be so they would need to be.

This is not a top level priority but is still a priority video. Odds are the people will be recording lines that will be used in a few years at best. Even though voices are being recorded now, the project will not be done any time soon. It will mostly help in the animation area until it’s eventual completion.

Recording For Auditions, Contacts, Important Details -

-Record in 44100hz 16-bit Stereo MP3
-Save the lines as "charactername_yourname_linenumber.mp3" (ex: Megatron_StevenCPhilliips_01.mp3)
-Each line must be separate and zipped
-Enclose your contact information (email, VAA, messengers, TFCog, Skype, YouTube) either in the email or in the zip
-Send your auditions to darkglass@geekcastradio.com
-Subject of the email must be "Dark Glass Auditions"
-I will be working closely with Gabe to decide on the official voices

I would like these to be the same or as close as humanly possible to the original character's voices. There are 13 roles below, only one of which is female. AUDITIONS DEADLINE for the time being is Dec 1st. This is subject to change as this project may take some time. It is being worked on but is more so a steady pace. No production completion date is currently set.
