Heya gang.

These are thoughts of mine regarding certain behavioral patterns that I attribute to Michael Bay. I have been watching this for a while now with intent to use against him FOR PRE-PREDICTION AND NOT MALICIOUS PURPOSES but am still reluctant to honestly speak about them and would prefer to wait and watch for much longer before I say anything too volatile.In effect psyche-analysis can be viewed as medical analysis and therefore be seen as invasive if not a direct attack against the person being analysed, especially if they didn't ask for it,so if this post ends up threadworthy,let's remember to be civil.

I am putting A VERY LITTLE BIT of what I think is RELEVANT out for people to use (I reckon you'll know it if you need it) but am asking everybody to pull blows and only strike above the belt,if and when necessary.Let me see if y'all have it in you.

These are THEORIES:

Primarily with colors:
Jazz (silver) is replaced with Sideswipe (silver).
The Arcees are replaced with the Nascars (same,I believe).
Jolt (blue) replaced with "Q"(or "Cue")-also Blue,suggesting plot pivotal prescence.I leave Wheelie out of this as a seperate issue.We also have the apparence that "cue" replaces "Doktor Scalpel" as a plot twister.
Jetfire (black) is unreplaced with a black bot, but the twins, who are at least often requested to be killed off (by fans), are repainted black and like Ironhide, (also black) the twins seem to be having limited to no action in the final fight so far, which is why some of us are considering their demise is at hand.Of course we haven't seen Silverbolt yet (as far as we know), and the fire truck has black paint on it too, so this suggestion is inconclusive enough for me to not want to speak too soon, as I stated above.Note Mudflap,the non fave,was red and Black.
The lead Arcee was Red,and the Ferrari is red,suggesting importance if not favouritism.Also,Bay may have had a psychological distate to work with red rather than a proffessional difficulty,which is currently turning itself over.This is, of course,conjecture.I am forwarding only what I can understand and asking nobody to follow.
Note that Ratchet has a chaotic all over the place paintjob.Is there a possibility he has been 'scribbled on' where others are polished reverently?If so, the only previous sample I can see of this 'behavior' is with the Twins Icecream truck mode-they are carnival clowns.Any possibility Ratchet has lost Rank points in Bays' mind?Alternatively, the particular colors are green and Grey- green going to Skids as a favourite but also an arcee as a write off, whilst Grey so far is perhaps the earthen version of silver,the default Cybertronian color,indicating what? Home? Reliability?

A sensetive issue:SPEAKING CLINICALLY HERE:The complete killing off of same rank females.Hurt Bay (or actually,embarass Bay once he's idolised you) and you're out the window.He idolised his original concept of the Arcees as a combiner and idolized his idea of bots with wheeled feet.He also rewrote Megans presence in RotF, idolizing her as well ("Oh,Goddess" says the little wheelie!).Each embarassed him publically.Out they go.
(I won't as yet insist he designed the twins' personalities' but I will say he ordered their import into the story and has 'behaved' like he's somebody who gets what he wants, meaning he would have read the script and altered whatever he didn't like about the twins the same way he paid no consideration to Sunstreakers' place alongise 'Swipe or Skidz' former role as theoretician when it didn't suit him.
However,he was needy enough to have to turn to Spielberg for what I consider to have been both bad, and destructive advice, but did not question it,indicating what Grimlock would call weakness,or Rodimus would call Unsure-ness.
Enter Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.Any possibility her pale,frail appearance keeps the distasteful result of the Megan experience out of the memory logs?
I'll stop right there for now.The rest does not have to do with what may effect the quality of the movie or future TF toy lines,so is none of my business.

At the moment,I'm looking at the various new military trucks and asking myself if anything I've said above actually pertains to their final design.For example,the netted truck:Did he get stuck with something he didn't know what to do with and 'scribble on it' in a code that only he can read, or did he start off with the particular idea.My answer is I don't know.Am I being too mental? Propably.

Lastly, people are spot on in this so far:If Prime,Mixmaster and the 2 military trucks (old and new) each count as the heart of a team, they do seem to be tweaks of the one mould.
Further,others have noted the semblance between TFA Magnus and the Fire Truck,ans yes,It's there.I am typing up all these half thoughts because I see so many others thinking along these kinds of lines.

This may be the last time any of us have the opportunity to get treated to a TF film and I,for one, am enjoying doing what I can do to help like minded folks find stuff out during the lead-up.I understand how mishmoshed the post above sounds.I am aware of it.I left it that way on purpose for reasons stated in the posts' first two paragraphs.I didn't ask anybody to follow my lead or state it's concrete evidence. The post is everything I (am prepared) to offer regarding initiatives I see other people taking of their own accord.It's for them to work with, if they need it,not for me to look good.

In terms of posts I will do what I think is right because I think it is right.

Whether or not I should avoid doing something because it doesn't look good is a matter for fashion and trend victims to sort out (not labeling you there,just chatting, my formal response to you is above and below,this bit is a discussion).If I hid away from every complicated thought and action I'd be spitting on everyones' education.

Hello from Greece. I grew up in Sydney.

Yes,I see the funny side in psychoanalyzing a blockbuster film director who still does commercials to make a buck in order to pre-predict his moves for fear of him doing something disastrous with toys I gave away years ago (tho I love the movies too, am having a blast here, am collecting movie toys now and would never swap them for my old G1's anyway).

I pre-emptively agree with your opinion in the original post (ref:"Am I being too mental? Propably.") so I don't mind your reaction. I got married 3 months ago so the specific comment I retaliated towards, which unfortunately was your only comment, I did because I'd attack anybody who said something even remotely sounding like an insult towards my Wife, even if it's obviously in jest. I'm sure you can understand that I would have retaliated immediately no matter if it came from a stranger or a friend.

I understand your opinion about my looking too deep into this.Folks have sometimes said it before, but to me it's only repeated initial impressions, not too much extra homework.Not for Michael Bay.

The 'mindless talk about colors and ****',which was actually about new Altmode sightings, missing RotF characters and Megan fox, was the breaking news, speculation and talk of the day.Check the date.Everyone was working TOGETHER on the same info back then. The detective work and theory slinging was good fun,and I might get involved again for TF4.
