A few hours left on this crazy, crazy Waspinator wave. LOL

It's time for Wave 9 of the Delxes!We've got a good mix of characters here. A lot of OPs, a lot of repaints. I'm curious how some of these will do. Starscream vs Blackarachnia in particular I expect to be a surprising race. Also, Dinobot vs Tarantulas. Tarantulas didn't do so how in the Halloween wave, and Dinobot's been beaten every time. So let's see how these two season 1 favorites do against one another. Skydive makes a few appearances, and the under-dog himself, Bruticus. It should be an interesting lineup. Round 1 starts now. It is one of my great honors to wake up every Thursday morning and see who survived the previous night. Makes me feel like I'm my own little Grandmaster. Round 1 was pretty decisive, but there was no slaughter. Everyone put up a good fight. Ironically most one the ones I was rooting for failed to pull through. Oh well. Alas, poor Starscream. I knew him well. I hope Blackarachnia moves on. Even the Skydives put up a fair fight. There really weren't any clearly hated or superior figures this round. It was just a nice wave over all. Good job, everybody!

6 hr warning on Wave 9

Deluxe Wave 10 is upon us. We've got some great match-ups this time. Like Injector! Also, for the first time, we have Injector, followed by Injector. Also, Injector make an appearance. Have I mentioned Injector is in this wave?

Actually, there's some really great figures in this wave. Thrustinator vs TM Cheetor was such a tough choice for me. There's a ton of my childhood favorites in here, like Skyshadow and Rapticon and Dirgegun. Plus classics like Jetstorm and Dinobot, and two of the Mutants! I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

We have another tie! This was a very close and surprising wave. From how well Skydive did, to Blackarachnia beating Optimus, to a tie between Cheetor molds! The only consistent thing to take from this wave is that people aren't liking the CW figures. Very interesting indeed.

Many giving of thanks, everyone! Illustrious day! We have some results from Round 1. Dirgegun made it through, but Thrustinator did not. Neither of the Mutants made it through, but both the Dinobots did. And score one for the Fuzors once again, even Injector reigns supreme!

Now the real fight begins. Some of the matchups are going to be impossible to choose from. And there is a chance we could come out with a Double Dinobot/Double Cheetor victory. Or, Fuzors and Transmetal II's. Or any number of combinations.

Monday is upon us once again. Wave 11 is here, and it's monster truck season! We've got Autocrusher and Autostinger and Che and Botcon Ravage and Rhinox. This is the car wave, I guess! Once more Alternators-style Ravage tries to win. Third time's the charm? Probably not. Can Rhinox beat Autostinger? Does anyone remember poor Che? 2/3rds of Magnaboss are in there with Skywarp and Ironhide. Snarl is going up against Bonecrusher. And I expect Armada Cheetor to eat Legends Rattrap. It's not secret I don't like that mold. :p

This just in. This just in. People hate the BWII Autocons. Harvester combines aren't as popular as Tyrannosaurs Rexes. Who knew, right? All of the vehicles are out, and got absolutely roasted. Wait, no, Botcon Rhinox is still there, but I don't think he will last very long against Black Megatron. Crystal Widow needs to eat Rattrap. Thrustol is going to keep pulling ahead against Shywarp. And Ironhide and Bonecrusher face off in the Battle of Forgotten Tankers.

I know this is all fun and games, but if you will indulge me for a moment. Yet another week is upon us, and yet another day to be grateful for the loved ones around us. Never take them for granted. You have no idea when you will never see them again.

Wave 25, TWENTY-FIVE, has come and gone. There were some very decisive blowouts in this wave. The Autorollers got stopped in their tracks, the repaints were seeing red. And yet again that terrible Rattrap toy comes out on top. -_- Thrustol made it through, which was nice Black Megatron got beaten by Botcon Rhinox, which shocked the heck outta me. And Bonecrusher absolutely dominated in the last round.

Deluxe Wave 12 has brought us more of the same. I don't know what to tell you except there are a few of my favorites in here. Lots of American releases. Hellscream is always fun, and the super expensive Killer Punch makes an appearance. Beast Wars Returns Megabolt Megatron going up against Telemocha Blackarachnia was a very difficult choice for me. Can we get K-9 vs Wolfang? Does anyone love Mutant Soundwave? Scourge vs Longhorn, a time for two underrated Transmetal II's to redeem themselves. More Fox Kids repaints! (Man I miss that bloc)

3 hrs left for Round 1

I had a wonderful surprise. I woke up this morning, and Round 2 already had votes on it! Two of them! Without me having to remind people! Oh, I don't know what to do with myself! I am so happy!

This was a very, very tight race. No one had a very clear advantage, with most face offs ending with less than two votes between the competitors. Cheetor nd Silverbolt both tied, and the computer randomly chose one. Sorry, nothing I can do about Round 1 ties. Someone's gotta get to round 2. The toughest choice for me was Telemocha Blackarachnia and Beast Wars Returns Megabolt Megatron. Megatron win by a wider margin than most other match ups. But still, very close. And I don't see Round 2 being much cleaner. Everyone still has very close numbers. Perhaps Tigatron and Jhaixus, but I see everyone else being super close.

It's two weeks from Christmas! AHHHHHH!!!

This last week was a close poll all the way around. It was a good mix of characters and toys, and there was no clear, breakout winner. Round 2 was a bit more decisive with 3/4 of the winners receiving 20+ votes. But I still wouldn't call it a blowout. I don't know, how do you think it went?

So yeah, that happened. This week is very much more of the same. The last Beast Rider shows up, as well as the last, and most popular, of the Autorollers. 5 girls in this wave, so that's fun, if that's your thing. The last member of Tripredacus also makes an appearance, and possibly the best one. Will he be able to move on? A couple Botcon figures, a couple Transmetals, a couple Japanese. Fun times all around.

I'm pulling for Manterror, but that means he has to beat Airrazor, and then Silverbolt or Strika. I also hope Megabolt Megatron can win this time. And of course, Transmetal 2 Dinobot :p

Wow! We had over 40 participants this week! That's the highest number since Wave 1! Thank you so much! Just this week and next week left, so if you haven't voted in the preliminaries, now's your chance.

Nothing too shocking, with the exception of Strika/Slug pulling ahead. Can she beat Tarntulas? Maaaaybe? Hard to say. I was surprised how many votes Che got. Manterror did really well. I think he can actually beat Silverbolt! Sharpedge was also surprising. That Cybershark mold just keeps giving. And Dinobot II vs Megabolt is a tough choice for me. I love Dinobot II (obviously) but ultimately I had to go with Megabolt as the superior toy. Dinobot just has too many flaws.

Tis the week before Christmas, and all through the site, the fanboys were stirring, ready to fight.
The polls had worn on, their battle was won, and the end of this contest would soon be done.
"This must be special!" It was decided. "To close out the year. We need a special poll, to dedicate this year."
The final theme was chosen, with much value and care, for sixteen tiny robots would fight. It's only fair.

Given that this is the last poll of the year, I thought I should point out a few orders of business.
I will be taking the next week or two off while I realign some polls and collect some numbers.
Masterpiece will not be included moving forward. They would always win. But there is enough to do a final MP poll.
There is a Kingdom round coming. Just waiting for a few more releases to be announced.
Depending on how many numbers I need, I will have a poll, not a tournament but a poll, with all the previous contestants that have lost so far. It will probably be a pick the top 4 kind of thing. So if you have a favorite figure who lost, You're gonna have a chance to see them again.
For the semi finals especially, I would like to see some professional-ish photoshoots of the figures in the matchups. So if you feel like taking some photos, feel free to contact me.

Good morning everyone! Welcome to 2020-1. I hope everyone is having a pleasant time. We're back, we're loaded up, we're ready to go. Let's go over a few ground rules:

1) This is the Best Beast Wars Action Figure poll. It is based on the toys alone, not on fiction or canon. You like the sculpt? Good. You like the color? Great. You like that Scott McNiel can argue with himself? Hold up there, cowboy. Code of Hero is good, but that has nothing to do with the toys. This is based on the toys and the toys alone. Beyond that, the choice is yours.

2) Kingdom is coming. We have enough announcements to do an entire wave. I just need the release photos. Masterpiece will get it's own separate poll. If not, they would just win. At the end of the Semi-Finals, you will have a chance to vote on a few figures that failed to make the cut. I don't know how many yet, it just depends on how things go. But yes, there will be a Revenant Round.

3) There is a new wave each week. Seven waves, with a break in-between. Round 1 will be Monday-Wednesday, and Round 2 will run Thursday-Saturday. I will give warnings for the end of each round. The top 4 figures will move on to the finals. The next wave starts the next week.

4) Spread the word. We've been averaging ~30 voters every week. I'd like to see if we can get to 50. I'd also like to set up a contest of some kind. Guess the ultimate winner ahead of time and win a prize. IDK, I've been thinking about it and can't come up with anything. Give me any suggestions you might have for spreading awareness. For the finals, I would like to have some of the wonderful photographers of our community step up and take new photos of the figures. I won't know why they will be till we get there, but if you're interested, drop me a message.

That about does it. The Semi Finals dumped everyone in one pot and stirred it up. All the winners from the previous waves are back, so we know these are the fan favorites. Sometimes you'll have a larger figure going up against a smaller one, like our first round of contenders, Tankorr and Buzzclaw. That may seem unfair, but you haven't been paying attention. I fully expect Buzzclaw to dominate this round. He's done it every other time before. There's a lot of Buzclaw, a lot of Cheetor, and an absolute ton of Waspinators. Some of these will be close, like Waspinator and Cybershark. Others I have no idea which way will go, like Jetstorm and Big Convoy. Primal and Depthcharge will be close, I suspect.

Man that was a tough fight! I had no idea that the semi finals would be so fierce. Buzzclaw barely lost to Tankor. Jetstorm and Big Convoy was an absolute tie. The computer randomly picks the winner of the round 1 ties so it can get to round 2. It chose Jetstorm. Luck of the draw. Strangely, it is now showing Big Convoy. IDK what happened there. I'll try to jiggle some things and get them switched how they were originally. Spittor is now facing off against Cybershark, so that should be interesting. Animated Blackarachnia barely beat Waspinator and will now face off against Tankor. Transmetal Primal and Airrazor now must fight like King Kong and Rodan. I don't expect that one to be close. We're fixing to run out of girls.

We managed to get about 40 votes on round two, which is awesome! For those that don't know, on Round 2, if you're on mobile, you swipe left and round to get the the Round 1 and 2 brackets.

Animated Blackarachnia beat Tankor. I am shocked. And appalled. And shocked. Miss ABA will be moving on to the finals! Spittor handily beat Cybershark, and it wasn't even a fight between FK TM Airrazor and TM Optimus. And then there's the Big Convoy/Jetstorm/Air Hammer debacle. Because 2020-1 loves election irregularities, doesn't it? I never heard back from tech support, so Big Convoy stayed. I'm not sure how that effected his battle with Air Hammer. But don't worry, Jetstorm will be back. He wants a rematch with the big guy...

Semi Finals Wave 2 starts us off strong with Depthcharge and TM2 Megatron. This is going to be an insane fight, I am sure. Two of the core, 1999 childhood favorites of many of us. Best of luck to both of them! Gen Rhinox and Silverbolt, Universe Striker and Torca. I'm telling you, the Semi-Finals are tough! Buzzclaw makes a return in the form of Virulent Clones, up against TM2 Dinobot who is, I am ashamed to say, a very weak toy. Japanese Tigatron and Mirage GT are both solid choices. I like the regular Mirage choices better, but the JP Tigatron is the best colors outside of the Telemocha one. It'll be a tough fight. Noctorro and Bonecrusher fight it out in the Battle of the Ungulates. Oh, there's Telemocha Tigatron. He's up against Transmetal Rattrap. Skyshadow has a legitimate chance at being the Best Beast Wars Figure, but he's gotta beat Manga Stampede first, and the other Round 2 choices.
