I recently got the heinki Dark Skyfire and it is absolutely fantastic. The mould is basically the same but the black/purple colours really stand out making it a very good display piece.

In regards to the old Macross Skyfire/Jetfire I recoummend getting a boxed one as it is likely the seller has had the sense to keep it out of direct sunlight.

I have to agree with --B-- on this one, the paint job is more G1 accurate and nice touch with the chrome thrusters. If not, the 2nd would be Dark SF to add to the collection.

say Classics. They came as close as I've seen to the actual G1 model. They even got the double barreled gun right. Only problem with him is he has unnecessarily sucky feet but that's been about it.

I recently purchased both the Heinki and dark skyfire figure and i recommend either of these really.

Just beware you take a missile in the eye whilst transforming him as i did.

Everyone loves Classics, and it's a great piece. My personal favorite, however, is the War Within version. Its jet mode just looks bad ass.

Also, Cybertron Jetfire is pretty good in plane mode especially.

I personally feel that the Dark skyfire is the best skyfire. Has anyone ever seen the botcon dreadwind version which is really cool and has a resculptured head.

I have Classics Jetfire and I really think he's an excellent representation of the character. I think the Henkei colour scheme looks a little bare.

I have an oversized R-Blade. He's the same size as a deluxe and a friend of mine repainted him nicely as Hooligan for me.

Classics Jetfire.I love my G1 Jetfire but Classics just pips him to the finish line.

I never pass Jetfire actually.....Armada,Energon,Cybertron-I have them all.also love Dark Skyfire-what a figure!!tretaed myself to that bad boy for Christmas

I agree totally with you!! Dark skyfire is awesome. Good colour scheme everything although they could have renamed him perhaps to skywarp theen they could have done a blue version as thundercracker.
