I was just curious and thought this would be fun: Think of 1 to 10 Transformers figures to collect that you think are essential to have before you die and post them on here. They don't have to be in a certain order either, just 1 to 10 toys. Let's try to keep this at least to somewhat obtainable figures, so lucky draw, club exclusives, 3rd party, and Japan-onlys, etc. would be kind of pointless. We want ones that most people could find from time to time on the internet so almost everyone can have them. They can be from G1 to HFTD and Generations...any toyline. I have a very small collection mostly made up of movie figures and Optimus Primes, so I'm kind of neutral here. I have a few to add though:

Energon Omega Supreme/Omega Sentinel
Classics Ultra Magnus
HFTD Battle Blades Optimus Prime

10 in no particular order that I would like to own before I go offline-

1.Fortress Maximus-complete dont care about box or paper work but its gotta have everything. Its not a figure Im looking for now but one day i gotta own it.

2.Omega Supreme-again complete and working electronics. Prefferably G1 but reissues are cool.

3.Piranacon-any version released will do.

4.Menasor-gotta be G1.

5.Raiden-This is one I would like to have MIB complete. I have a KO but its not the same.

6.Armada Overload-Changing series now I just missed out on it during its original release and have been too cheap to snag one nowadays online. Loose because I want to combine him with Prime and Jetfire.

7.Nemesis Prime-Armada. I hunted for this bastard too when armada was in stores and couldnt find him. For that reason MOC.

8.Trans-Mutate-10th annv Beast wars pack in(6 seperate pieces sold with 6 different figures). I really want the figure but not so much rebuying beast wars figures I already own and TV episodes I already own. However I will probably pay an over inflated secondary market price eventualy for a figure from one of my favorite episodes. I know Im a complicated person.

9.Soundwave-Loose and complete from both cybertron(voyager) and animated(both). Soundwave is one of those characters I need each version of and well I missed those and shh i know i cheated.

10.Master Piece Hoist-Oh I know it doesnt exist now but one day. OK probably not but I can dream a little.

I tried to mix it up a little but that my list.

Transformers will lead me to immortality so I will have forever to get what I need. Seriously though, ones I need to get before I die are just most of the Japanese series Transformers.

Classics Cyclonus (Henkei or Battle in Space version as Hasbro's has too much grey in it)

Masterpiece Galvatron when they eventually make him
G1 Predaking - the combiners have to be given a mention even though there hasn't been a good remake of any of them since their original G1 toys.

The TF Club Devastator could be worth a place on this list if the final product is as good as the initial prototype pics are.
Just imagine: a G1 accurate scale sized Devastator (in scale with Classics or G1) that is made up of all of the original robots who can be separated and Transform into their own vehicles, and in G1 colours......

Nexus Maximus (don't google btw) was the Transformers Collectors Club exclusive from 2005-2009

If I had to get rid of my entire collection but could keep 10 they would be:

1. G1 Optimus Prime
2. G1 Megatron
3. 1 of each MP mold (in my case it would be Prime, Megatron, Grimlock, Clear Starscream).
4. G1 Ultra Magnus. He is fantastic. I can't believe no one else mentioned him.
5. Predaking
6. Classics Prime with third-party trailer
7. Classics Megatron
8. Metroplex
9. Omega Supreme
10. Trypticon

I would probably change the last three, depending on the time of day, because I had a few that I would toss in there.

Yeah I want Magnus so bad. He looks like a great toy and I hope we get another reissue, so we can pay less for him again! Ironically, I'm like the only TF fan that does not have a version of the original Prime mold. Epically epic fail, I know. But he'll be released again and again until the end of time (I hope). G1 Megatron will be hard to find, considering he's a firearm and someone could use him to shoot someone (just what I heard). As for MP, you have no idea how damn lucky you are if you do in fact have all of those.

If you have any love for G1 I'd agree you must get Fort Max. He's got very limited posability even by G1 standards but he's loaded with weapons and just looks so imposing and impressive in anyone's collection. You must get one before you die [but you can't have mine].

Beast Wars Neo Heinlad/Heinrad. In fact, he's not that hard to come by, I might just start looking around. Everyone needs a TF with giant testicles, sake and a working alarm clock.
