ACToys in China, which usually gets a sneak peak at soon to be released figures, is indicating that the upcoming Binaltech Convoy weighs .9 kg. (This weight may include the packaging.) This may bring relief to some fans as it indicates that the figure will have a fair bit of die-cast parts.

In comparison, you can see below the weight for Binaltech Black Convoy, which was die-cast and plastic vs KISS Convoy, which was all plastic.

By the looks of the inset pics the weight is for the toy alone. I don't see any packaging involved. But omg! we need more diecast metal parts w/ reliable joint technology. I was so disappointed in the Die Cast series.

Unless Takara improved on the mechanism that changes the bumper to the shoulder armor, those parts being diecast now will cause them to fall off constantly. So unless that was improved, BT-Convoy = Semi-fail.
