Black Shadow

- Weapon: Plasma Cannon
So this Black Shadow figure thats coming out in the Generations line, is there any correlation to the video game character from the F-Zero racing series? They look very similar and their personalities are somewhat the same too. Also, why such an obscure character from the TF universe? I know they've done most of the major ones but still...kinda odd.

The G1 Mega Pretender Thunderwing was repainted/retooled and released in Japan as Black Shadow.

Also, "Black Shadow" is a pretty generic name, so Hasbro opted to go with "Sky Shadow" for Generations instead. Bet you guys didn't know that.

Probably just the instructions. Like several others, it showed the planned retool instead of the actual figure.

Vortex was exclusive/Tomahawk, Leozack/Scourge and Gears??/Kup are probably 2012 early assortment.

Leozack and Gears are by no means confirmed, it's all still speculation. If anything, Scourge will be retooled into Ratbat and Kup into Orion Pax

Leozack would nicely fit Black Shadow's release. But I'm guessing we'll see soon enough.

I don't really mind which one we get from Scourge. If it's Ratbat then my smaller scale Classics cons get a Ratbat that matches up pretty nicely with the Target version (who hangs out with the War Within Titaniums), if it's Leozack then my Botcon version gets a more accurate head (though of the two Botcon Skyquake is the one most in need of a head swap).
