Loving the new heads, Shaj! I think the black helmet & silver-skull match the best with the Fallen chassis, but I really like the G1-esque look of the other. So basically, I haven't quite landed on a fave face yet. But I still have plans for the Fallen One, as I've taken to callin' him...I love the weapons he came with too! That giant shoulder cannon looks so cool, and now he's got a proper set of blades. The Eness sword looked great, but it didn't fit into any of his scabbards.

With the assault on Moonbase IX, it was clear whose side Black Zarak was on: his own.

After Longrack's thorough debriefing of the events (with embellishments from Omega Supreme!), Magmatron determined that Z must be stopped....no matter the cost.To this end, the Wreckers are once again reinstated.

Before his retirement, Springer had led countless missions as the leader of the Wreckers -- and lived to tell the tale.

On one of these missions, they came across a sole survivor of a Decepticon missile attack: the Dinobot Slash.Thanks to a double-cross by Dealer, the Decepticons took the Autobot base on Planet X; the Dinobots were coming to pay him back for the disservice. In a frantic attempt at escape, Dealer launched an ICBM at the Dinobots -- the only survivor was found by the Wreckers, who had been tasked to retake the base.

Thanks to Slash, the operation was a success and she was made a Wrecker then & there.Springer was her first....the first to believe her that Dealer had sold them out. The first to find her, under all the wreckage. And the first to believe she was capable of being much more than meets the eye.As her first mentor, Springer taught Slash the ways of the sword and how to improvise on the battlefield -- she'd always been a survivor.
Hearing that Slash may have defected to the Destrons, Springer once again leads a new team of Wreckers to get back the Planet Keys, take out Black Zarak......and bring Slash back home.

Optimus Primal finally arrived! He's as beautifully beastly as expected, and I can't wait to play around with him s'more.

With him home, I only have Dinobot and Rogue Megatron left on my list...neither are being actively hunted, but I would like an incarnation of 'em some day...

Hey Wingz! You didn't miss anying with Double Dealer -- I had picked him up last November (birthday present to myself lol), took some pics....and finally included them in my head canon.

I have so much fun with Slash as a new character that I just kinda roll with whatever she's inspiring me to do. The fact that she nestles into Bomb-Burst so well took it to another level for me -- it's really what I'd love in a modern update to the Pretenders. The only change would be to have the Legends scale figure in an Ultra Pretender shell, for maximum Transformability! And for the outermost shell to be a large beast, of course.

Scouring across Cybertron, Starscream discovers the reawakened Powermaster Duo, Blackwing & Dreadwind.

To prevent them from drowning in depression and self-pity, he gives the Decepticon Duo a purpose -- to retrieve the Planet Keys of Primus from the traitor Black Zarak.

Starscream grips the Dead Matrix and bathes the Duo in darkness -- powering them up and dialing the firepower to 11. They combine to form DREADWING, and Starscream & the Jets roar towards Black's base...

Misfire's waiting for them, after all.

SHOCKWAVE HAS JOINED THE DESTRONS (and gets upgraded, thanks to Z)!

It didn't take Zarak long to notice Slash was inside BB -- he built the shell, after all. That, and Bomb-Burst has never been about the Swordplay.

Zarak offers Slash a new chassis for her loyalty. As her download completes, Starscream & the Jets attack!

Bomb-Bursts' shell reactivates as if back from the dead, and closes in on Misfire. Even in her new body, Slash retains her link with the shell and can control it remotely.Coming into close proximity with the Dead Matrix powers Cap'n Black up, as Starscream learns the hard way.Now with the Dead Matrix and all the Planet Keys of Primus in his possession, all Black Zarak has left is to locate the sector where Vector Sigma is kept...

I really like "Longarm". As my first TF Animated character, he looks great and I'm a sucker for the whole double-agent/spy thing.

The power to bend time-space is a curious thing.Heinrad knows what's coming...and thanks to his last hangover, he decides Cybertron needs the "Triple Tech Mechs" to help stop Zarak's Reformatting of Cybertron...His first stop is for Optimus Prime -- not the post-war, weary warrior & former leader of the Autobots, but the idealistic hero who fought for the freedom of all sentient beings. He was always a great DD and reliable for words of wisdom.

Next is Optimus Primal -- not the born-again spiritualist, but the young leader of the terrestrial Maximals and reckless explorer. He was always quite the philosopher....and party animal.His last leap through time is for an incarnation of his former Maximal leader who had been left for dead, then corrupted by Unicron. Reborn as Nemesis Prime, he then found salvation thanks to the Convoy Aggregate...but had been lost to time, thanks to his own conceit.Heinrad came to 'Super Black' Convoy in the Golden Era of Cybertron of a parallel dimension -- where, for a time, he and El1ta Pr1me led the citizens of Cybertron.He was always a bot of few words; the one-bot army. Heinrad figured he might be bored and be itching for a real fight.With his favorite Primal/Primes gathered, Heinrad & Convoy focus their powers to allow the "Power Pack" to traverse back to Cybertron 7020....

I blame D-Max for making me want dis Grimmy. So when I saw him at Target, I had to say YESSSS.

I seriously did tho, IRL, aloud in-store.

But anyway, he looks amazing, and the box was kinda heavy -- Grimlock just looks so massive in the box.

Really, Shaj -- I have an incarnation of the AoE mold (but with G1 face!), but yeah...he was not quite right. But this one....he's truly a nice, modern update.

Or perhaps it's Grimlock after corruption by the Dead Matrix...

It's really hard not to be impressed with the detail and care put into the Studio Series, D-Max & Shaj.

I can't wait to play around with him a bit...

With the Reawakening that occurred after MegaHead's defeat, Dinobot awoke in his Transmetal 2 body. Unaware of how, where and when he came back online, and with no allies in-sight, he wanders....until he runs into Alpha Trion & Moonracer, and finds purpose once again.

Magmatron knows that Black Zarak has all the Keys of Primus -- all that is left is to find Vector Sigma before he does.

Fortunately, Vector Prime is forever bonded to both Alpha Trion and Vector Sigma. After seeing a dark vision of a future to come, Heinrad and Vector Prime went their separate ways to prevent it...

Rounding up Longrack (who's had a crush on Moonracer for centuries) and his buddy Longarm, Vector Prime dons his Metalhawk Prime Armor and they set off for Sector G1-85.Fortunately, Vector Prime's ability to bend space-time allows them to fast-travel to Vector Sigma.
Unfortunately, this leads Black Zarak and the Destrons to Vector Sigma as well....

"Ah, there's Longarm.....MOONRACER!!"Moonracer was originally entrusted by Rodimus to not only protect Alpha Trion, but also to care for his self-proclaimed LEGENDARY WEAPON, the Rowdy Roddy Blowpipe. Moon believes Longarm shoulda recognized "Roddy" (since he claims him & Rodimus were buddies).....but Dinobot seems to recognize Longarm.Longrack is barely able to defuse the situation, just as a special delivery arrives!
