The funny thing is, I was going to delete the eBay app, to help curb my spending!

But I had saved searches for both G1 Bludgeon and Tako Tank -- the latter was missing all accessories, and the seller said OBO. With Wingz's blessing (I sent him her way first), I made an offer -- and the guy accepted! Which made me a proud new owner of Ikard & the Tako Tank.

I'll second that. THE HELL BRO?!

After s'more time with them, it turns out I'm only missing the 6 missiles and the pump (?!) -- she (the Tako Tank!) looks great and I knew she was big -- had no idea that big though!

I was thinking of including pics with other, larger bots...but Unicron is kinda hard to top as a "whopper" of a story.

The Tako Tank is definitely worth hunting down -- it displays great. Ikard, too.

You should hunt one down too, Shaj! Ikard himself can be slightly loose, but besides the missing accessories, the Tako Tank is in perfect shape. I need to play around a bit more with those tentacle paddles lol

Hey Bodyrock! I can see you like your Neo beasts. While I sadly have very very few of them (and will wait for my exchange rate to ameliorate before I buy more), I do have something to share that I think you will find super cool.

@Shaj: Ikard is great! I had Scuba on my list for quite awhile, but when his cousin came along in colors I prefer and with a Microman vehicle reject, how could I say no? He totally legitimizes the set as BW/TF, and can strike just about any pose you can imagine -- except for handshakes or fist-bumps.

@D-Max: it's okay....I have no idea what happened. But Tako Tank & Ikard inspired that entire post! They're my first official characters from Beast Wars II; I also have the NA release of "Snarl" (aka, Tasmanian Kid from BW2).

@will: NICE animation cels! They make those characters look pretty bad ass (besides Stampy lol) -- I wouldn't mind picking some up as well to hang up in our playroom.

I'm still enjoying the Beastformers quite a bit, as well as the Power of the Primes.

Hey Bod, your beast hunts have inspired me to look beyond what I would have looked at, so I am grateful for the mass beast intros! I had no idea Taco thingy even existed until you posted it!

Yes, the Tako Tank is a real Transformer from the Japan-only Beast Wars II, D-Max! Well, Tako Tank was a canceled Microman vehicle that got repurposed for Transformers, anyway.It was not me taking pics of some weird, Japanime sex type thing with robots -- although that was the punchline! But yeah, since going on my Beast Hunt, I went down all the rabbit holes and am finally coming out the other side....and even ended up with a rabbit Transformer (Stampy).

I can only imagine the adventures Ikard & his Tako Tank get into....

Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. I'll need to crack open those IDW Beast Wars guides I have again. Find some bots I may want other than the obvious bots I want (Lio Convoy, Big Convoy, Other Convoy, maybe Galvatron). Someday. Maybe.

Well, that's what the rumors were, Shaj -- the only indication is the fact that Ikard can only jump on the bike/hovercraft once it lifts out of the Tako Tank. As it is, I just pretend he's inside and driving....or has a remote control, James Bond style.

Hey Cram! I also still have Lio Convoy on my list, but only if I can hunt down a good deal for a loose figure. Shaj, Cobo and Wingz enlightened me with their Beastformer lists (several pages back), and this led me to Beast Wars Neo...and some of the most interesting figures of the Beast era.

I can't recommend the Big Convoy mold enough!

Its just speculation basd on the bike tha comes with it and how it would fit better with a standard actio figure than a transformer. But there is no actual word on that from Takara.

Yeah, back when I first was on eBay in the '90s Beast Wars II and Neo stuff is what I looked up a lot of. And variant covers of comic books. Never pulled the trigger, I'm kicking myself now. They were so dang cheap back then!!

Yeah, the Beast Wars II and Neo figures are spendy now -- not quite G1 Pretenders (complete) pricing, but still not cheap. Our domestic BW figures aren't too expensive though.

That lines right up with the first iteration of the Microman reboot. I think Microman Magna Powers hit late 98. For sure 99. So if it was abandoned from Microman it was during development of the first wave of the reboot.

Now I wish we were neighbors Bod. You have the tank, I have the Micromans. We could solve this mystery like a crime fighting team of super hero toy dork man children!
