I gotta admit...as much as I want MP41, I had forgotten about KOs! So I don't need to spend hundreds....but then you never know how the QC will be.This guy doesn't look too bad for a Dinobot. Especially for $40

If I hadn't just spent $30 on parts (big ramp and large deck -- still need robo-repair arm and small ramp) for Countdown, I might have pulled the trigger....but I bet there will be some great KOs after the official release happens.

Yo Cram -- I always enjoy seeing your Micromasters. It's thanks to the Ultimate Guide I know what I'm missing. And having their tech specs included is even better.

I did score a few things while on the Hunt today -- my first Triggercon, Ruckus ($6)!...and I also scored another in my Neverending (!) Beast Hunt: Tripredacus ($45)! I still haven't decided if they're the Tripredacus Council or the Jointrons (ARM!) in my head-canon. ;p

But I have 3 vintage/toy stores I check weekly, and two more flea markets that aren't specialized, but deals can be found! I still think Beast Wars hasn't blown up yet....

I agree about Beast Wars. That's just now hitting 20 years old, so people who were 4-8 when that came out now have the disposable income. Hopefully..

I think there's still a vintage toy shop/video game store about 30 minutes from me. Traffic in the summer can make it 60 minutes though. Hmm..

In other news, I was checking out my Micromasters last night and THERE ARE SOME MISSING!! Now they may in fact be in mom's attic, but that's an ordeal to get to! The only reason I know some are missing is due to the "team" element. How can I have 3 of 4?! Or 5 of the 6 pieces of the combiner ones?! BOOOOOO!!

I need more flea markets.

I think there may be some of the Sports Car Patrol down at my mom's. I dig the Monster Truck Patrol I picked up! I casually hunted for the Hot Rod Patrol online, but they're already going for $60 on eBay! WTH. I'm thinking ~$20 or less.

While I was hunting for a deal on the Hot Rod Patrol, I came across Micromaster Combiner Sixtrain. The listing said OBO, so I submitted a price I thought was fair...and the guy accepted!For $45, he may very well be the KB Toys exclusive Rail Racer, rather than the Takara Train Team -- but not in my head-canon. I actually like "Rail Racer" for his Combiner name, but vastly prefer the name of the six trainbots for Sixtrain:

Oh wow -- the seller just cancelled my payment and provided a refund....citing that the item was damaged or out of stock. Is that grounds for a negative eBay review, or should I let it go? I'm pretty damn disappointed. :/
