I like it.

Still definitely an early prototype with some gaps to fix, but it looks like Mototmaster to me, which none of the other attempts did.

Alright guys, just wanted to let you know I'll have plenty to update you on about the figure here in the next couple of days.

Some things you already know (he will be slightly shorter than MP-10 in robot mode), but I can confirm he will be able to combine with the CW limbs. If you are like me and don't like CW Menasor then you're covered.

I received the test sample of the figure today and have started putting a picture gallery together that I'll upload to mine and Bold Forms facebook pages this Saturday prior to Cybercast Video Podcast going live. I'm sure someone will eventually put them up here and other places to view and that's fine(wouldn't mind a shout out from where you found them though). The figure will come with more accessories than what I was provided like chest plate, waist plate, gun, hands, etc. There are separate pieces that I was also not provided with that makes the combine mode with the CW limbs possible, but I do have a picture of them applied to show off.

If you are interested in a video review of the figure than that will be up on my youtube channel Monday.

Why would an MP scale figure combine with deluxe class limbs ? They would be so off scale with Motormaster as individual bots it would look ridiculous. Not to mention these aesthetics wouldnt go well with the CW Haesthetics.

Because MP and deluxe are not the same class... It would be better to say that this is an Ultra or Leader sized figure. The mention of MP-10 was just for size. I don't recall this ever being mentioned as being in the MP side of things...

Not sure where you're getting the MP-scale from, X. He mentioned that he would be smaller than MP-10, which when you consider that MM is truck + trailer, he should be appropriately deluxe-size, no?

This sounds like a good thing, like it will properly replace the crappy CW Motormaster.

If this is true, I will be VERY happy.

Interesting idea. Honestly though I'd rather someone just gave CW Motormaster a trailer that could split apart bulk up the combined mode than replace MM altogether- he's a fine toy himself, it's just the combined mode is kinda lame.

For me, Motormaster needs to have the truck cab "shoes" with his body forming the trailer.

I find that an integral part of the character's design.

Without that, I feel he is just Prime with a square head.

The point of this toy is to please the fans who like the bigger CHUG toys and the MP toys.

That CW Motormaster toy is a terrible toy. Think for some, This Bold Forms Motormaster is needed and will be regarded as awesome.

I have TFC Uranus and Hercules. They are not deluxe figures. They are small voyagers. And TFC Blackbird is the same height as Ultra class Universe 2.0 Silverbolt which I also own. Deluxe limbs would look silly on a torso of that size. A voyager torso would scale much better with hasbro deluxe limbs as seen with Microblaze Onslaught. You need small voyagers to make the proportions work on an ultra/MP size torso. Also the individual deluxe bots would scale horrible next to an MP Motormaster.

I wouldn't say it's MP scale. It's more for people that want a really nice Motormaster to go with their CHUG figures. I only mentioned he was slightly shorter than MP-10 for height scale because I believed most people had him or at least have a really good idea how big he is. Like I said in the original post, I'll probably have somewhere close to 100 pictures showing off comparisons with CHUG CW MP etc, different poses, and also step by step transformation of the figure on my facebook page sometime Saturday evening(5pm CST). You can find them there and post however many you guys want.

I wouldn't say it's MP scale. It's more for people that want a really nice Motormaster to go with their CHUG figures. I only mentioned he was slightly shorter than MP-10 for height scale because I believed most people had him or at least have a really good idea how big he is. Was the plan to make a whole combiner scrapped in favor of making a new torso to replace CW motormaster ? Or are they still moving foward with the whole set ?

I'm interested in this too.

Personally, I don't think a whole set is warranted, though I'd still like to see a proper Wildrider and a 6 wheeled Dragstrip.

The scale would be the deciding factor for me. Aesthetic would also play a key factor. If motormaster doesnt match "Haesthetics" of combiner wars, my lust for visual harmony would force me to buy all the limbs. Then I would own 3 menasors. Oh no...G3!!!

They are still going to come out with thier limb figures. Obviously more LW figures will be made since some people will buy him strictly for CW set. I can share more info later, sorry I'm on my phone. I'll try to reply to any post late tonight. I'll release all details Saturday.
