But it's still one well sculpted figure.

I've never liked the Constructicon green and purple: just doesn't look intimidating and serious. I like Transformers because they are robots with alt modes that seem real. Green construction vehicles? Just don't work for me.
I don't see why there is a need to repaint in G1 colours. This Bonecrusher is a military Buffalo MCPV, not a bulldozer. Colouring his new mode with his old G1 colours is different from repainting Jazz or Ratchet because both incarnations for these guys are very close.
Let's not forget that the difference between G1 and the movie is the same as the difference between a comic and a movie: the colours that work well in a cartoon or on paper just doesn't serve for real life depiction, and can look downright ridiculous. What will they come up with next: yellow spandex?

Seriously, though, it's ugly and stupid...but that's just my take.
If Bonecrusher was this color in the movie, he would have had to say: "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" right before Prime kicked his arse.

You've seen X-Men 1? Reference to the X Jet scene.

Bonecrusher... engineer, warrior, searching for a way to tap in to the hidden strengths that all cybertronians have. Then, an accidental overdose of gamma radiation, alters his body chemistry. And now, when Bonecrusher grows angry or outraged a startling metamorphosis occurs. The creature is driven by rage and pursued by an investigative reporter. The creature is wanted for a murder he didn't commit. Bonecrusher is believed to be dead and must let the world think that he is dead, until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him.
*Hulk theme plays in the background*
Seriously though....this is a photo edit. The real thing...if there is a real thing, won't be nearly so gaudy. Just take a look at the difference between Laser Magnus, and his Ehobby pics. The real toy didn't actualy turn out that bad.
Lets just be patient, and see what they do with the actual toy. Some decent paint apps, and it could be pretty cool.

It's clearly a shop, I mean... it's too ugly to be official, surely even those idjits at Hasbro couldn't think rollin' on grapes is cool.

I hope this isn't official. It looks horrible, continuing the trend of awful, awful, awful repaints in the Movie line.
Why is it that everytime a construction vehicle Transformer comes out, it has to be re-released in neon green? Am I the only one who is sick and tired of this trend...? G1 colours do not belong on the movie designs. Pick a generation and stick with it, these repaints look like bad time-travelling accidents.
Anyone fancy a trip in the Tardis to undo the damage?

They could have put all that time and energy with a repaint into making a bigger figure--time, and money NOT well spent...
Repaints are very quick and cheap to produce; unlike creating brand new molds which is why there are so many repaints about.

Very perceptive! And you're right, it is a fake - they just repainted over the photos from Seibertron:
