a few...:)

I heartily recommend the works of Poe and Lovecraft, but (maybe I'm alone in thinking this) "Catcher In The Rye" is boring and over-rated.

Currently reading "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand for a college scholarship, but have been meaning to read it for a while now, and, I have to say, she's quite the good writer and philosopher. Close to what I want to be in the future...

Very good.

And, on the topic, if anyone had some links to scholarship applications, that would be golden. Going to be piled in debt very soon.

Hold on, I'm sober enough to read "Heart of Darkness" and "The Dead School", but not sober enough to read the overly-simple "The Catcher In The Rye"?

I spent my first post recommending what I consider to be the greatest five books ever written, but "Catcher In The Rye" rats me out... :-?
