I'm having a hard time trying to think of many G2 paint schemes that wouldn't look completely out of place in the real world. Sideswipe is ok I suppose and Inferno, who must have been off ill the day everyone else got abused by the raver painters, but past that?
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I actually like The G2 Optimus trailer better than the G1 version, mainly for that reason.Razorclaw0000 wrote:Wicked awesome. I can't wait for this set.
Glad that you're coming this year!
It's like OP is saying "Oh yeah, I'm Optimus F**kin' Prime. You want a piece?" It goes with the rest of the audacity that is G2.
Also, I'm super excited for BotCon. Even my wife is excited because we've decided to turn it into 9 days of vacation. It's going to be great!

I think that might be a little harsh. Here are a variety of "normal" colored figures ...
G2 Dreadwing and Smokescreen
G2 Megatron (1st version)
Laser Rod Optimus Prime
Laser Rod Laser Cycles
Most of the G2 GoBots
Axelerators
Skyscorchers
Sideswipe (1st version)
Starscream and Ramjet aren't that bad ...
Hero Megatron and Prime aren't that bad either ...
The Mini-bots
The Constructicons
The Auto-Rollers
I'm sure there are more that are OK as well

The G2 Stunticons weren't on any show I've ever seen. I'd guess that since it's a homage to a particular toy version of a character they've gone with a head that resembles the one that particular version of the toy had.

Yes, I know G2 Brakedown was not on any type of series I'm talking about the mold it's self seeing how it's just a repaint of the original G1 version, sorry I didn't make that a little clearer. I though as much since it being a homage to a toy from 94' and this new head is very close to the action master version of him. Well I just hope if Hasbro does plan on a classics Brakedown they do a head sculpt closer to the show.

Yes, much so. But there's always the possibility of the customisation class at Botcon to be G1 Breakdown.

Hey that would be really sweet. And you wouldn't need a pair of sunglasses to look at the damn thing! Definitely retro G2 style 'nuff said!

Wonder if it would work to put that head (new colors) on Hound to get a G2 Swindle?
I'd like to see Dragstrip and Drench, as they like to use molds repeatedly, they can use Mirage twice again.
Since they are already using the Sideswipe mold twice (PCP, and Brakedown), I could see the customizing class using this mold and getting G2 Sideswipe from it.
Problem black paint though. One thing that the cclass does is they usually use one of the molds being used for Botcon, in the same colors, and they get painted into something else.
This will be an especially hard task for Shawn if colors must be as they have been in the past--same as a mold already included in the set, or in production for the club. Could PCP be made into Protectobot Streetwise with a light bar set? Sort of, especially if they had the Brakedown head. This could be fun.
In the Botcon set, Ramjet would be nice. Clench out of Onslaught sounds cool.
I think just about anything that is thoughtfully done will be excellent. It's a set I've wanted, even if it will not have all the figures that I want in it.
