~I very much doubt myself or DuckStar can make it this year.

I have a holiday to Malaysia for kuala lumpur, a week long rain forest trek and then a week on the island of lang kawi booked which has stripped all my funds, so findoing £2,000.00 to go to botcon is gonna be hard.

No freakin' way! This is like a dream vacation. Transformers PLUS Disney? Come for the TF's (my thing), stay longer for Disney (my girlfriend's thing). Wow. I wonder if we can make this work. Problem is, June is not very far away at all, that's a lot of planning and saving to do...

RE: BotCon 2010 room update

Response has been incredible! In less than 24 hours the room block is at 185% of capacity. The hotel will continue to take reservations until there is no availability left and then we will look at overflow properties outside of the Swan and Dolphin complex.

Currently there is availability at the Dolphin for every night except Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday the 24th. HOWEVER, there is plenty of space still available at the Swan for all nights. The Swan hotel is about 100 yards from the Dolphin and they share the same swimming pool complex. So, if the reservationist needs to put you in the Swan, don't worry, they are right next to each other and it will only take about 2 minutes longer to walk to the convention center.

Disney World is less then 2 hours away from me and my best freind works at the Magic Kingdom told me that Disney was talking about this last week but I didn't belive him

I wonder if this is happening around the same time as Star Wars Weekends that takes place at the Hollywood Studios (formally known as the MGM Studios

Being near Epcot is cool because the Japanese Pavillion there sells Japanese Transformers too

Downtown Disney itself might boom from Once Upon a toy or as its known on the boards as the Hasbro Store will get collectibles

Awesome! I was scared for a min, I am going on a cruise late june, wasn't sure of dates at first. I bet I was the 1st person in history to not want to go on a cruise. Just found, I leave out of jacksonville on the 26th. Which means, I was all ready scheduled to be only about an hour away anyways at the same time. Guess that means I get to go for the first two days. Awesome!

Can somebody please give me the contact information as to how to by tickets for Botcon ??? Whats the point of reserving a room if you have no idea how to get tickets ??? What's the cost ??? Will they be sold on the spot ??? Or must you buy in advance ??? Is there a cancellation fee for the hotel reservation if I cant obtain tickets ??? Or can I buy entry at the door guarenteed ??? Any dress code for formal events ???Will a Botcon regular please give me some advice. I put a topic in the Transformers general discussion section, but nobody has left a comment. Please check it out...thanks
