That's not a bad guess...I wouldn't be surprised if he were the "must have" figure. How many true "must haves" can there be of characters that have only ever been released once? Unless the "must have" fig wasn't one of the first time updates...

Well if you like mysteries, maybe you might enjoy watching Scooby Doo. If you like playing guessing games, you can always pick up "Clue" at your local TRU.
But for me personally, I dont have time for all that sillyness. I got the money and Im willing to spend it. Playing silly guessing games about Botcon exclusives, locations, etc. isnt going to make or break a sale from me. Im there...PERIOD. It's supposed to be Botcon, not Area 51. So I think they should cut out all that BS and give it to us straight up.

Orion Pax, Elita One, Guzzle, Alpha Trion, Devcon, Chromia, Moonracer, Hun-Gurrr, Sky Lynx, Sandstorm, Broadside, Springer, Shockwave, Star Saber, Arcee, Rodimus Prime, and Soundwave have ALL received updates within the past 27 years of the Transformers franchise. We need to think DEEPER with this if we want to figure out who HASN'T received ANY updates since their original debut in the 1980s.

Back to serious-mode...My money goes to the three characters that make Reflector. The characters have been mentioned by Hasbro already as an alternate for Gernations Perceptor. It would be an easy do for Botcon to use the mold three times. My runner up choices go towards Stepper and Artfire.

You don't have the time for all the sillyness but you're posting in an internet forum about said sillyness?
Sounds like you have plenty of time for it.

I'd still stand behind my very valid point, but you're right. On all points. Even though this topic is entirely regarding a hype on the BotCon set, its better to bitch about not knowing the location it will be at 1/2 to 3/4 of a year from now. And suspense & mystery don't play any roles in adult life; Not Sales, nor Television, nor Movies, nor Novels, nor Relationships, nor Et Cetera. Mystery only exists in episodes of Scooby Doo, and a guess of anything equates nothing more than to Clue the board game. I see now the error of my ways. Here I was going on fact, logic and understanding, when I should have been huffing & puffing over not knowing where to attend a Transformers convention next year. Clearly that's the more grown up way to going about this all. Before, when I entered this topic, I thought building 'hype' about the making of a convention exclusive set for a TF collector was great, but you've shown me it's childish. Like you said, we're grown men. We shouldn't have to patiently wait to know what the next batch of hand-crafted TOYS we're going to throw our money at is going to look like. It's better they don't say or show us a thing until the set is 100% done. That's certainly the smart way for anyone selling anything to go about it. But wait, if that's true, and waiting until every detail on something is done so you're not teasing your clientel is the correct way to do it...wouldn't we all be HAPPY they haven't done something like tell us where the next BotCon would be and when since it's likely they're working on that as well? Or do we just huff & puff & bitch about everything we don't like/have/know RIGHT NOW, given we're grown men n'all. Enlighten me.

Considering that the previous years they announced the location AT the event and that many people can't go if it's in certain places, it's a valid complaint that they haven't told us yet.
Ikr! I'm currently reading the Marvel Uk comics and Xaaron a great, great character.RhA wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I'm gonna throw in a possibility and put this guess out into the open. Emirate Xaaron.

Question: what mold would he use? In the comics, he said he hasn't transformed for so long, he could die if he did due to the shock of his systems. You could call him the very first Action Master

Well, they could pull a WoH Kup and make this a younger representation of Xaaron, back when it didn't hurt to transform.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:RhA wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Ikr! And, while he hasn't transformed in ages ,he still does have an altmode: a combat tank.
And since his original design was based off the G1 Megatron toy, maybe they could use one of the many Tank Altmode Megatron toys for the figure.

Have yoou seen me endulge in guessing games with the other posters ??? Have you seen me mention one potential characters name or possible location anywhere on this thread ???
If you look at the times between my original post on the main page and my response to that dude on page 8, it clearly shows that I have been working all day. But the dude took a shot at me and my comment so I responded back. If you choose to just absorb hits like a punching bag, so be it. But thats not me. And now I am off to work so I check back for your response in about 10 hours.
