Some interesting images have surfaced over on ACToyss that appear to be the rumored BotCon 2012 attendee only add-on figure Octopunch. As you can see in the images mirrored below the figure is a repaint of HFTD Voyager Sea Spray in G1 Octopunch's Pretender shell colors with tentacle deco. The figure is packaged the familiar convention style baggy labeled BotCon 2012. This is consistent with the list of potential BotCon 2012 figures we published earlier, which stated this figure will also feature a new head mold.

I like the Seaspray mold, but it's just hard for me to see it as anyone other than Seaspray, even if it does have a new head sculpt. So I guess that means I'm not interested. Now...bring on those SG Junkions dammit!!!
Also...is it just me, or does that Decepticon symbol look red on the first two pictures. Is this going to be SG Octopunch?

Im good with this. If you flip back his boosters it gives him a new look as they resemble oxygen tanks on his back. Then give him PE ratbat as a tridant and he no longer looks like seaspray.
Now lets hope they get the head right and dont have a lightbulb looking helmet or that ugly squid face. I want the robot head but I doubt we will be that lucky.

Or just give him Terradive's trident
Also, if they paint Sea Spray/Deep Dive's waist area correctly, it could be made to look "skull-ish" like the original. Since they went far enough to paint ducks...er, I mean...tentacles, I don't see why they couldn't go the extra mile.
