It actually happens that there has been a post-Beast Machines story that featured an army of Battle Unicorns being led by BM Longhorn as the Maximals' answer to the Vehicons, only with slightly more autonomy and were used to battle a Sharkticon swarm. They served as the best of the best, both as polish intimidating soldiers and as the mighty steeds that were rode into the battle by themselves (think like how Junkions can ride each other).T-Macksimus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You know you want the Mach Kick mold.Wolfman Jake wrote:Nina Werewolves, yes. Or Battle Unicorn/Magna Stampede.
I've seen some astounding TF/Pony mash-ups. I'm am totally on-board with this. Magna Stampede leading a whole contingent of meched-out Pony warriors against evil robot pirates... it doesn't get much better than that!
Screw ninja-werewolves! I was running one of those characters 20+ years ago in a D&D campaign. That's old news to me.

Hmm...at 1st I scoffed at the Ninjas being the other group, but now that you said that, it doesn't sound ridiculous. There ARE some good ninjabots, including Sixshot and Drift. But then it means it can't be a clear-cut good vs. evil theme.

PIRATES
VS
Autobots AND Decepticons!
Basically make this a three faction war with the pirates being a murky in-between group.

If you wrote a story or starred in a story that had a ham being referred to as a potato, that would be true for said story because you'd be presenting it as a fact for that story's reality.njb902 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:...Despite the show actually and canonically calling them "zombies"?njb902 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I really hope it isn't zombies. TF: Prime also refers to its zombies as "Terrorcons" despite other TF works defining the term "Terrorcon" quite differently, yet what TF: Prime defines as a "Terrorcon" is true for that show even if other TF works say otherwise.

I'm thinking more of what zombies actually are, I'm just going with the most well known zombie types here.
1. Corpses reanimated by a bokor that are completely subservient to the baker's will because they lack their own. The Terrorcons might be mindless, but they have their own will to well rip apart anything.
2. The Haitian kind created by a witch doctor through pharmaceutical enslavement. That doesn't really fit them either.
3. And the best kind, the Romero type zombies. Consumed with the need to feed on flesh which in turn causes their infection to spread. Now the original Terrorcons don't fit this definition at all. The Silas type of Terrorcons are more like vampires than zombies, though they do spread the infection.

Vodou is pretty common in the US, especially around Louisiana. Vodou dolls and shrunken heads are some of the more common pop culture Vodou references. The Disney film The Princess and the Frog has some very strong Vodou influences. The zombie films made before Night of the Living Dead were mostly about the Haitian kind of zombie.

Oh, that's why I didn't recognize it. The way it's spelled here looks like it's pronounced "Voh-doh" instead of "Voodoo". I know what Voodoo is.njb902 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Not fluent in those lesser known religions compared to the larger ones like Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Judaism, Islam, Christianity, etc.

But in common media portrayals, zombification and voodoo are not mutually exclusive.

As the very word zombie comes from Vodou/Voodoo/Hoodoo you're right, it just depends on the zombies origin. The Bokar created ones are very similar to what Megatron does with infusing their corpses with dark Energon to control them. The only difference being the Terrorcons have limited will without Megatron. So I'm willing to give you that one, I just the revnant fits them better.

njb902 wrote:Vodou is a religion.
Just to get technical: No, it's not. It's a set of beliefs that you practice alongside another religion. Most Louisiana Voodoo practitioners, especially in the 1800's, are/were also Christians(overwhelmingly Catholicism, as that's where Voodoo/Hoodoo beliefs originate, but I've met non-Catholic Voodoo practitioners when I was involved in it). In fact most of the Loa correspond to a particular Catholic saint, for example Ayizan is Saint Clare, and some saints are directly granted Loa-ship, such as St Michael the Archangel.
Also, njb, your first two kinds are, in actual practice(outside of movies), the same thing.
