Valued Energon Pub member and Transformers insider KOToys has got a gallery up of a figure many will have in their collections by the end of June. We're talking about Botcon 2010's throwback to Generation Two. The figure happens to be Breakdown, a teal and pink repaint of Universe 2008 Sunstreaker/Sideswipe, also with a new head sculpt. Breakdown, along with Pyro, Sky-byte, Clench and Streetstar fill out the five figure box set. Check out the images below, while the rest can be seen via our forums or through Photobucket!

For some reason the splatter on his rooftop changes it for me from so ugly it's awesome to just ugly for me. I know it's more accurate to the G2 figure but it really turns me off.

I love that Breakdown toy even moreso than if he was in G1 colors. He just looks so garishly wonderful.

Those are terrible colors. Good thing that it is a freebee. I doubt that this would move off of the shelves unless girls suddenly take a huge interest in robots

There's somethign very GTA VICE CITY aboout breakdown. The head sculpt is really nice. You can breaks the rules in design, and design something to look really bad in such a way it's good. G2 was really awfull, the fact they put the names of the charactyers on the side was the dumbest idea, especialy on primes trailer, not only did it look poorly designed, it wasn't much of a disguise.
They really have pulled it offf with breakdown, I'd be happy to own this one, not sure on the others, but this is definently come at the right time what with all the 80s fashion throw backs.

ok, wow, that's great. those colours would actually make him fit in well with a lot of the later G1 Decepticons as well. (Seacons for one example)
that head and the garish deco make it look like a completely new figure and while a G1 coloured version would be cool, I think this and Pyro are definitely examples of Botcon figures that really work well.

I'm really glad that they've added the black diamond that was missing from the G2 con logo in the official pics we saw a while back. This makes me pleased.
On a side note, anyone know what the point of the small hole in the roof is? It's not there on any of the other versions of the mold that I have...

Just a hunch, but I think that's a leftover from Henkei Alert. The lightbar is attached in the same area as the hole.
