I want it. Too bad they're so expensive.

That said, I did manage to pick up Jazz last year...

Kup could be a little more green, and I wouldn't have expected this mold, but he's looking pretty good.

Meh, I'm a Kup fan but on that mold I'm just not feeling it - the colours are abit off too.

I look forward to seeing what else this set will hold.

Not what I expected, but not bad. I'm intrigued now, I want to see some of the other figures. This boxed set might be better than I thought.

I get a very "last year's" feel from this set already... Sort of neat ideas but not really screaming "PURCHASE" right now... I know this is only the first figure, but it's going to take something pretty special to get me to pony up. Hopefully that Scourge will turn out to be the one that seals the deal for me.

I like it, it's a nice mold choice but I think Energon Inferno would've been a better mold choice. But that whole Elite guard thing is takin off.

I just hope this doesn't affect the chances of getting a Kup in Universe or Animated. I'd love to see the trio of Hot Rod, Blurr and Kup in one of the current continuites.

I always interpreted the name "Kup" as being short for "pick-up" since his first appearence was a futuristic pick up truck. Never got confirmation on this, but if my childhood theory is correct why didnt they use another mold ???

To me Kup's alt mode in G1 looks like a futuristic Pick-Up truck. Akin to a Chevy El Camino, only sleeker.

Additionally the Red Alert Mold has that gadget-y left hand. which doesn't apply to Kup at all.

Its not that its a bad mold, because I do like it, but it just does not fit Kup.

That's what I've been wondering (And the guys at Fun Publication as well I bet), but I haven't seen a non-movie pick-up transformer in ages! Even as I run down my lists I don't see a mold befitting someone like Kup...

That's what I've been wondering (And the guys at Fun Publication as well I bet), but I haven't seen a non-movie pick-up transformer in ages! Even as I run down my lists I don't see a mold befitting someone like Kup...

Walky had a good suggestion of using Cybertron Dirt Boss over at Shortpacked. Scroll about halfway down the page to see his recolor.

I thought it looked much better than the current version.

Nah, I don't see Kup as a powerhouse like Dirt Boss with his big wheels. All of the fitting molds were already used in the previous years. :-?

I think Energon Snowcat could've made a decent Kup, but obviously FunPub thought differently

I hope it comes with an Ironhide repaint of cybertron defence hotshot! I read somewere what other exclusives they had this year and I think it said something like flak(who's he!) :???:

They've already used Cyb Defense Hotshot for last year's Botcon set so its not likely they'd use him again for this one.

As for Flak, he's a brown tank.
