Yeah I'm on team Jetfire. Skyfire was basically unknown to me until today. I don't think the name is nearly as divisive as the Gen leader figure.
So who's pro and who's con on the leader class Jetfire mold?
I happen to like the mold and that sexy jet is to die for.

I've been considering removing the chrome from mine actually. I didn't like all the red/chrome weapons so I gave Jetfire the weapons from leader Thundercracker. TC is only rocking the null rays

Kind of always preferred calling him Jetfire myself actually over the cartoon. Though I can understand the preference for going the 'toon way with it, same with the whole Rumble and Frenzy thing. Though that has gotten hilarious at this point.
As for the toy, I didn't get the leader class, but looking at it I do think it is a nicely sculpted and designed figure. Plus the fact it got retooled it to give us Leader-sized Seekers of Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp is good too.

Ah leader Jetfire. I really like him. Fun, relatively posable, looks like Skyfire AND Jetfire, much bigger than my Classics voyager. Even picked up the Mega Mon Man fillers. Just need the Reprolabels now.

I like G L JF just fine. Just had this convo somewhere else. The only thing is I find his transformation a tad annoying, but other than that he's great. Don't care that he's hollow, and I like the cheesy chrome. Best of all I like his size and the way he scales on a CHUG shelf. Oh. And his robot mode is super cool.

The most complaints I've seen about it stem from either it being simpler than people were hoping for what with it being a Leader class and all, or that they don't like how it goes from the cartoon robot mode to the toy jet mode instead of either the cartoon robot to the cartoon jet or the toy robot to the toy jet.Bumblebee21 wrote:I love leader jetfire mold.
