Darkseid is almost certainly the more powerful of the two. When I said Darkseid would steal the spotlight from Brainiac if he were to appear in DCUO (Where Brainiac is the main antagonist) I meant because Darkseid is such a bigger threat, everyone (Both the Justice League and the Legion of Doom) would ignore Brainiac in order to figure out what Darkseid is up to.
Of course, I would pay damn good money to see this play out.

I don't know... Maybe Darkseid could rip Brainiac apart, but in the iddle of it, Brainiac could implant a chip on Darkseid in the middle of combat that slowly takes over darkseid body over time. Or he can just recollect himself. Worse case scenario, I see them teaming up to take on Superman.

Both of them are capable of possession, but when they've tried to possess each other, Darkseid always wins out.

They tried that, actually. Darkseid claimed he was in a losing war with Brainiac, asked the League for help. Ironically Darkseid managed to fool everyone except Superman with it, Superman just got pulled along anyway, to make sure his friends didn't, you know, die a horrible Apokaliptian death.

Apokalips has planetary defenses, you can't just sneak up on the planet. Even so, Darkseid has speed on Superman's level, and his reaction time can be measures in nanoseconds.

i gotta say darkseid. I know if brainiac had a reason to fight him he'd have back ups of himself, but I know Darkseid would eventually wreck whatever was thrown at him.
