i was putting away my FP bruticus and i noticed that one one the shoulder joints for vortex( missile pod) we broken. the little circle where it connects to vortex for the arm was broken. i super glued it and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a permanent fix to this cus what caused it was stress for being combined and the missile pod coming off and on so many times. i coated the broken area with super glue and as with the other side of the pod. im just hoping it can combine again

check out my collection thread, updated 2/25/13, and i kinda lost count, i have to count them again....

It seems like a fairly common issue for some people. There is more reading here. Mine is not broken yet therefore it will stay combined forever. Luckily that is the most awesome mode.

yeah i did fix the part i just hope it holds. i did sand down the pegs on vortex to fix the problem and i coated the broken parts with super glue. but the down side is that one of the missile pods dont stay on in vehicle mode too well.

Depending on where you purchased yours, some online vendors send replacement parts. It is a common problem with this mold.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the thread you linked isn't talking about the hole but the hinge. That article says leaving it in combined mode is what causes that problem so you may want to rethink how you display it.

Ah, you are right, although someone did post a pic of the hole being broken. That's what I remembered and it threw me off. Mine has been combined since day one and I check it regularly. Not so much as a stress mark, so for now I am leaving it. I still think it's transforming them between modes is what is causing the breaks maybe also posing it regularly.

So my question to all is how many times have you assembled/disassembled your combiners? When I first recieved Explorer and Munitioner months ago I have had them combined since. I'm curious for those that have the Aerial Team Appendage have there been issues there too? I combined them once and then shortly disassembled but just once.

I just disassembled mine for the second time due to paranoia and found nothing wrong with mine. I'm going to leave them in bot mode for a while to show off Munitioner and Explorer.

I don't know but I've changed it through all modes several times. Maybe ten times. I've had no problems.
