BTS-02DX great idea, poor execution

Motto: "I ain't got time to bleed!"
Weapon: Gattling Gun
I got the BTS-02DX in yesterday along with the rest of my POL for BBTS. Let's face it when the FansProject G3 trailer hit the scene it pretty much pimp slapped the BTS trailer right off most collectors Classics OP's. At least that's what happened at my place. To BTS's credit they came up with a way to make their trailer useful again, with the four new connectors in this set both deluxe TFA Primes could now use the trailer as well as Titanium Prime and Magnus, plus a connector for Classics Hot Rod. Awesome, I was really excited about my TFA Primes have trailer options. Not to mention new guns for Dragstrip, Tankor, HotRod, and a new repair bay arm for the trailer. I always found the original arm kind of weak.

Now for the bad. Everything they had in mind was great, they just didn't execute the ideas very well. The guns for Dragstrip, Tankor, and HotRod are fine, but there really isn't a lot to mess up on there.

The connectors for the TFA Primes basically don't work. While they connect to the figures fine, they don't connect to the trailer very well at. After applying an uncomfortable amount of force on the Earth mode Prime connector it barely went in, but it didn't latch in place like it's designed to. Odd considering they designed both the trailer and the connector. In the process of all this the connector came apart. It didn't break, it's made in two pieces and they came unglued. I can probably fix that, but still annoying.

The new repair bay arm is an improvement over the one that originally came in the trailer. It also has storage for the WWI connector and the Hotrod connector. It's easy to install, just remove four screws from the bottom of the trailer, pull the old arm out, and the new one goes right back. It's too tall though, just by a fraction. You can still close the roof panel, but it won't fully peg into place now. It really isn't noticeable, but again considering they designed both pieces you would think it would be spot on.

Oh well, at least it wasn't overly expensive.

Too bad. It seemed like a good idea. It's VERY odd that they couldn't get it to connect with their own trailer.

I bought it when it went for $34 at BBTS for to have it attach to FP's trailer. For me MORE is better.

Weapon: Twin Sonic Cannons
I'm buying them for the guns anyways.

Of that they seem to work fairly well.
