Bumblebee doesn't have to have DUCKFEET!
HEy Guys! Don't know if this has already been posted, but if you don't like the look of the mammoth flippers on your BB, there's an alternate trans, that I think is the way it was really intended to go.
When you flip the fender down to be the feet, rotate it up, the entire 180, then push them up a little so his automorph is kind of half way.
The fender totally clicks into place on his body, and if you've pushed it back up enough he has a pretty stable surface to stand on, created by the spoiler and the black peg on the back of his original "feet"
Now I enjoy the figure immensly. Those big honkers were just too ugly for me! LC

1) Next time you take photos, focus your camera and adjust the brightness.
2) This 'fix' not only looks bad, but it severely hinders the poseability. The default feet aren't even that bad.

Or, just wait till the '08 Camero version comes out. Far, far superiour. If I had known about it, I never would have wasted ten bucks on the poopy little classic camero version.

Honestly, I don't get the hate for '74 BB. He tops pretty much all deluxe car TFs released in the past 5 years. '09 BB will be even better, but that doesn't mean '74 BB is crap. Very far from that. If you want retarded designs, go look again at Armada Hot Shot, Armada Sideswipe, Energon Hot Shot, Cybertron Hot Shot and the likes.

^ I thought Cybertron Hot Shot was pretty cool, but I'm still not liking the BB mold.
liveconvoy, I can barely tell what it looks like from those pictures... might wanna try taking some better ones.

Hey, I just moved. I had to look through eight boxes to find the damn camera, three more to find the cord. If you have the toy, then you can clearly see what he looks like enough to try on your own.
I don't think I'm going to post more pics, if everybody just wants to flame anyway. Just trying to help out.
I don't mind the rest of the mold at all, but the feet really bother me, and I thought some other people might like my solution. LC

I wasn't actually trying to flame, it's just really hard to see in those photos because they're dark and out of focus. I don't own the toy, because I don't really like the way it looks (duckfeet for one), and if your fix makes it better, I might be interested in buying it. But I understand if you don't want to take more pictures.

"Duckfeet" look so much worse than unposeable stumps...
I'm with megatroptimus. Yes, the figure does have its shortcomings, but I don't think it's that bad a figure.

Thanks for posting, LC. I have `74 BB, and I was able to follow your instructions even before I saw the pics.
And, hey, look, I took it one more step and turned both legs at the knees a full 180 degrees, so that the back of the legs are now in the front. Kind of, and I do stress "kind of", reminds me of Classics BB's legs, except switched. =) It may not be for everyone, but I like it, and I wouldn't have figured that out without LC's post, so, again, thanks LC!
But I have to disagree about the poseability; he still seems to pose just fine.
I know I kinda dissed `74 BB in the past, just based on pics, but now that I have him, I love him. My only issue with him was his big clown feet, and now that issue is taken care of, so he's great! =) Will `08 BB be better? He sure does look like he will be, but now I have 3 BBs to love.
(2 movie, 1 Classics)
Oh, and pics attached. They aren't great, but I think they'll do. (Man, I'm obviously not a pro photographer! :p )

Hey Jaz-zen, I think that looks pretty good turned around.
You have the missile launchers in his hands, too. I wonder if anybody keeps them up on the shoulder/wheels? They're way too floppy for me there.
You know, my alternate trans does look a little stumpy. But I like it because it makes the figure shorter than Jazz. I think BB should be kind of short and stumpy, you know... like a VW BUG?

Are you sure you've locked the wheels in place? There are notches on the inside of the wheels and tabs on his shoulders for them to lock into. If you don't lock them down, the cannons will be useless.
I took the missiles out, they just look ugly, and turned the cannons around so that the '+'-hole is in the back. The detail on the launchers look like miniguns, or possibly Soundwave's shoulder weapon.
